>Elly> Last year, I went on a trip to Israel with my parents. (We had left my little sister behind, hehe.) Anyways, the tour group from my Dad's school was led by one of his Old Testament professors, and he absolutely loved falaffels; so every day at lunch we stoped at places I dubbed "Falaffel Hut"s and I always got the aforementioned falaffel, and a coke. I thought the coke cans they used were interesting with the hebrew and arabic writing, so I've kept em... hehe.

Oh! Did you like our crazy country?
As a kid I used to eat Fallafel every other Friday afternoon, on the bus, going to visit my dad. I haven't ate for afew years, but now, being a vegiterian, it makes perfect lunch for me, with a bottle of Grapefruit juice.
Where to did you go?

I was hoping to go over there when I was at school, but at the last minute my parents got the jitters . These days I can hardly afford to go up to Exeter*, let alone Israel....
*About 30 miles away.

I loved it in Israel... and I had no idea you lived there.
If I study abroad, it's probably going to be in Israel... I know a few uni's that do a year abroad program that are just outside of the Old City in Jerusalem. Well, one is by the Old City, t'other is just in Jerusalem... I had a blast there, cause I was the youngest on the trip, the next closest in age to me was 19... I was 14... It's really fun to bargan in the markets... ::: thinks of the vairous trinkets he aquired like this :::

Haven't they given iy up yet? Leave the poor alone!
I've never heard of a Uni just outside the old city, Leo, and my dad lives in Jerusalem for over 10 years now. You probably mean the Hebrew university, which is devided into 2 campuses: Mt. haTzofim and Givat Ram . Anyway, I can give you an internet address to the Uni's site, if you want.

One of them was the Hebrew University, my Pastor's older daughter just got back from studying there. The one I went to by the Old City was Jerusalem University College formerly known as the Center for Holy Land studies... I'd love an address for the site.
