I came seeking refuge from the Christmas season. It would be nice to find a Christmas free zone to chill out in even just for five minutes.

I´m fed up with this X-mas hyper commercialized thingy going on for ever and ever... I appreciate the vacation though, but it less relaxation than I had hoped for...

it's 'fairytale of new york' and it is the most awesome christmas song ever. my friend's dad is plays the drums on it...

I've stocked up with DVDs from the library and am cooking leg of pork (outdoor reared, organic) Will shortly season with Rosemary, sage, garlic and pepper! My French friend is coming round on *mas day to share. Giving the family whatsit a miss this year.

Yup, we swedes celebrate Xmas at Xmas Eve = today.
Among the very few things I can stand with this hypercommercialized event is rice porridge
So, just now I´m cooking a big pan with rice porridge which will be (a very late) breakfast. It´s served with cinnamon, sugar and milk.
