Well, there are two main differences I believe with the voting here to America.
1. Everyone over 18 must vote. (Unless you have like Alzheimer's or something in which case you get an exception)
2. We don't have a vote for the Prime Minister and then one for his/her house and stuff. We vote for our local member for the (
I think that's lower house... House of Reps, whichever level it is) and then while you're in there you vote for ummmm the other house. And you can either put a number above the line and say you'll vote how that party says, or you can number every single box under the line (and there are like 80 of them...)
But I'm too young to vote, which is why I'm not entirely sure of the names of the houses and stuff..

And the vote is a fine thing, I reckon they should do like Eurovision and have each region vote for a candidate before the main competetion. How Jemini ever got in I shall never know...

Pah, Eurovision voting is stupid because it causes people to vote for their home country, not for the best song. And I'm not just saying that because I'm Irish and we haven't come near to winning it since the tele-voting system came in.
