II'd like to suggest some categories for the First Annual Thingite Awards...

"Most creative topic drift"

"Most subversive use of smileys"

"Longest running misunderstanding"

"Most threatening use of a loaded pun"

"The largest number of overly long words used in the explaination of a relatively simple concept or idea"

Start nominating postings for these by putting a link to them, along with the category you're nominating for. You can, of course, nominate yourself, and even add categories as required. smiley - wow

To keep it fair, though, all nominated postings must be dated from before the contest was announced, so nobody posts something just to win a category. smiley - geek

We can organise a vote when we have enough nominations, and then figure out a suitable smiley - gift for the overall winner. smiley - huhsmiley - spork
