btw, how does one polish a plastic , cos my is definietly plastic. I prefer plastic ones! I think titanium ones are a little showoffy!

II'd like to suggest some categories for the First Annual Thingite Awards...
"Most creative topic drift"
"Most subversive use of smileys"
"Longest running misunderstanding"
"Most threatening use of a loaded pun"
"The largest number of overly long words used in the explaination of a relatively simple concept or idea"
Start nominating postings for these by putting a link to them, along with the category you're nominating for. You can, of course, nominate yourself, and even add categories as required.
To keep it fair, though, all nominated postings must be dated from before the contest was announced, so nobody posts something just to win a category.
We can organise a vote when we have enough nominations, and then figure out a suitable for the overall winner.
