I was useing the French definition, actually. It means "who", but is also used as "huh?" sometimes.
hey, you can come visit my pad anytime. I'm a broke college student, so feel free to bring plenty of friends, and then I can charge all of you rent instead of having to work a crappy student affairs job!
Mwa-hahahahaha! <--- (evil laugh)

Aha!
In that case you mean 'Quoi' then Spoo... a word I also find quite useful at times!
By the time I have saved the airfair to the USA you will probably be a highly paid executive in a smart uptown flat

heh
well, at least I got the usage right, even if my spelling is a little rusty. I know *just enough* French to come accross as an American trying *really* hard to blend in, so everyone speaks English at me out of kindness/pity.
oh, hey, I just found somebody's sunglasses on my desk. I believe I shall officially declar them to belong to Shazz. Now you have to come get them. See? Now you've got a goal. Hurry up and collect that airfare!

Are they Raybans?
BTW... I wasn't trying to be a smart-a**e by correcting your French Spoo... I am always so impressed how most of the USA seem conversant in Spanish et al... sadly, at school, the only alternative language to English was French (bizarre as the world knows what the English think of the French LOL), so I studued it to a fairly high degree.
Now, however, I am back to square one! Living in Holland and desperately trying to learn the language. The words 'slow' and 'past my learning age' spring to mind! LOL
Tot ziens!

Don't worry about that - I'd rather be corrected than keep getting it wrong French is one of the big ones, although, the way things seem to be going, Spanish will soon overtake it. I really don't care which language I get to learn, just so long as they don't make me try to wrap my brain around something like Navajo. Gimmie something easy, like French.

*OUCH!* *OOF!* *YIKES!* *dodging all the hammers*
Silly me! Next time, I keep my insecurity to myself- much less painful!
I'll be invading Espania next year sometime in June! We're going to go everywhere the Frogs don't have jurisdiction over (euro-rail!)...
So I'll prolly be visiting everybody over that way then!
H2G2 sure has slowed down, let me say!

hey, don't look at me
BTW, I'm currently down in sweet ol' GA. I'm visiting my dad in Cartersville, and will be here until the first week of August. After that, it's back to JMU and pretending to study. But, until then... anyone wanna get together, spur o' the moment sorta thing? We could go check out that Internet Connectivity cafe that's on the H2G2 front page - there's obviously one researcher there already.

Where is Cartersville? Is there anywhere out there we could meet?
Meets in the Southeast
Spoo Monkey Posted Jul 9, 2001
Cartersville is about 45 minutes north of metro Atlanta, up I-75. There's jack sh*t to do here, but that's to be expected when living in a suburb of a suburb of a major city. Um, we've got lots of Waffle Houses. No surprise there. Got any ideas?

I'm not much of an event planner. I would suggest something where there's another activity going on. Maybe a park and and a picnic, hike or something. Georgia has some excellent state parks.
You should be fairly close to something on that side of town.
The only other suggestion I would have is something like Dave and Busters or the AMC dinner theater.
