LOL!!!! Well...hello, Monsy! You do climb in here from time to time!(Watch out....Eddies' lookin' over your shoulder!)
Yeah...we didn't get to see much of 'em last time over....but what we saw was quite impressive! Seems it would be a nice backdrop to an H2G2 meeting....though its' a bit away.
I suppose that would give plenty of advance planning time, though.

Well, I'm all for it. Who knows? We might even find a few other guide researchers there...

then it is a go ....now all we need to do is get things together such as who will be there, where to locate each other and so on...mind you there isn't a really big rush with all this as the event is quite a bit away but if anyone else around here is anything like me it won't begin being done until the last minute making it all a bit confusing ...
btw, garibaldi should be joining us as well...he is moving from australia to atlanta in about a months time

My olde man has re-instated my unlimited air-miles pass. I can fly anywhere in the world to terrorize the citizens of various and sundry countries once again. I think visiting Shazz and TM would be HIGH on my list of sites to visit- if they could put up with me a day or so... Like, I love couch-surfing internationally.
Just got back from Costa Rica, where I learned all the best bars, bordellos, and restaraunte's in the city of San Jose. Next time I go back by myself, and surf on the west coast, see the volcanos and rainforests, etc.
The food down there is MUY EXCELLENTE! Tasty stuff, I tell ya! And the native food is CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP! Leave McNastys, Pizza the Hut, and other Amerikkkan fast-food chains alone and you can eat WELL for about 6 bux a day!
However, don't make a mistake like I did, and eat at a restaraunt/bar/casino called the "Del Rey" (unless you've just got tons of money to spend). A ribeye steak plate cost me 30 bux there! Beware the tourista-traps! The steak was GREAT- you could cut it with your fork, it was so tender and jucy- but the PRICE!! Dios mio!
I also got to use all the spanish Fenny drilled into my head. I obviously got my messages across well enough to convince them that I actually spoke spanish fluently. As when I was ironing out some bugs in my exit-visa (some other guy has my name, and had the audacity to be there BEFORE me!), they were actually surprised when I had to ask them to slow down, and eventually get an english translator to fully understand what was going on...
I also increased my vocabulary whilst down there. Wonderful to have all the signs in two languages.

That would be "que" (what) in Espanol. "Quo" is latin for something simular, I'm sure. I'm too lazy to look it up in the latin dictionary as of this moment.
I guess my threats to visit everybody has scared everyone off! Hey! You don't have to put me up! Pointing me to a good, cheap, youth hostel would work- still I'd like to visit ya all, and I promise I'll wash all the green goo off my body and change clothes before appearing at your door!
