* hungry as a bear, or a man who ain't had a good cheese sarnie for over a year, jwf ponders the Snughound's drooling lips and wonders whether to share the pickle or the sandwich... *
Try hitting the dog, gently of course, with that tuning fork wouldja. Yeah right on the top of his skull there. I just wanna see if he's still in tune with my thinking and will he accept any arbitrary decisions (such as:'you have the pickle sport, the cheese is all mine') without getting all sulky. Nothing worse than being stared at by a sulky dog when eating. No that's not true either, There's lots worse.
* offers half a sarnie and a quarter pickle to the beast who bolts them down and subsequently enters into a slow soft-shoe version of "You Are My Sunshine" as the simulated lactates do their magic *

Heyla JFW..oh dear..you haven't given that cheese again have you? *breaks out the gas masks*

There is something unhealthy in this diet of cheese sarnies and beer-just thought I'd mention that. Any chance of a cheese sarnie and some beer, stopped by at your personal space Lil, did you ever get the meeting house off the ground? Are the meetings silent? feel free to drop by if you want to discuss elsewhere(?), English is actually my second language, my first was drunk, in which I am fluent, where's the food?

Kes, the cheese could be from 1732. You'll have to ask Munchkin, he does all the purchasing.
raindog, You can have dillpickles with your sandwich. We also serve crisps, and of those we have frog and onion, sage and antelope, and... those ones with the salt on the side. There are some scotch eggs, but it's been a while since I made them.
*turns out another sandwich, and pushes it toward raindog*
The cheese is well-aged, apparently.

*lights up his briar and considers accompaniment options*
And did you mention new seal and apricot? I'll also have an egg if they're well scotched, could you put that on my mother's account at Coutts?

You'll be lucky if it gets put on a plate, mate!
Large scotch egg for me too, please, and hold the egg

When did I ~ever~ make a sandwich? We have had no incidents of that nature since Wumbeevil rotisseried the hedgehog.
*turns out another grilled cheese sandrwich* When Munchkin gets back maybe he'll get some ham in.

Well they keep running across the breadbin, leaving little . I thought perhaps if we just left the lid open, with the cheesed slices of bread lying temptingly ready they might sandwich themselves and you'd just have to apply heat.
