Hanging baskets! Great idea ... and leave the original occupants inside them! The Hanging Wardens of Babylon! ROFL!

Might I just suggest that we attach them to the Memorial Lindbergh pram? Then we could have The Hanging Wardens of Babygone.

...or we could bash our heads against the supporting brick wall, thus creating (wait for it):
the Banging Hardness of Woebegone .....

Or ..the twanging guitarness of Elton John.
(That's a piano joke.)
Oh ..it seems to me I left my light
..like some candle in the window.
(Now that's an Elton John joke.)

Trifle is always hard to handle at the best of times, but as you point out, impossible when running a fever.
A good Jello is a bit firmer but handled with hot hands will last no longer than ice cream. So its always best to wait until you are feeling better and your temperature is back down to normal. If possible, chill your hands in a freezer for several minutes and then you can feel your trifle well.
And, ..uhm ..you can keep that helmet now if you like.

Err, John, you know how you live in a cold err climate in winter. And on these freezing mornings you can see your breath condensing in front of you? Well, I err was just wondering if a similar effect was observable at err the other end of the alimentary canal?

(P slips out to investigate. His path will lead, eventually, to the Portabarkabin)
(Puts head round door)
I may be gone some time. Don't wait up!
