Pdante I could not agree more. And toxx you're a naughty boy.
On the serious side: one minute you "are in" and in a flash you're on the floor. Hit your head and you could be dead.

That's the truth and az thanks for the caveat.

Oetzi. It's up to az to speak for herself. I try to converse politely with everyone. Can't always guarantee to be sufficiently sober to get it right all the time, though. smiley - smiley

I guess I've missed being nagged by a woman, az! My cyberbuddy JR once threatened to, but he either forgot or did it as a formality. Blokes aren't really up to making a good job of it, I reckon! Hey! I still haven't fixed the bike he was going to nag me about. Dunno if I'd be allowed to ride it with this leg brace. Wouldn't mind having a go though. smiley - smiley

Why wish your life away Road. Better than being surrounded by blokes mate. Besides just think on...a women is worth two men anyday. They are brighter, harder working and make great child minders.

Oetzi, you *do* know don't you, it's not sheep shagger but probably shearer, or dagger? You are very funny, it's funny whether it's a mistake or deliberate! (At least, I think so...)smiley - laughsmiley - sheepsmiley - rofl.

Know what you mean, Roadie. It seems like a total pain at the time, but somehow it fills some kind of emotional void. Find that rare one who doesn't nag and the relationship doesn't seem quite real. You sort of hold your breath - waiting for it to start.

As far as I know Dell...and please check in the OED..that the term is "shagger". Of course I am aware of the vernacular. In passing that term is popular over the border in Scotland...shagging as in copulation. Here in Egland we would say "screwing".

But no Dell, he was The NZ Champion Shagger and was here to compete at The Highland Show in Edinburgh.

As an aside I was there representing a German company selling shit stirrers for agricultural cess pits. Earthy but necessary jobs Dell.
You well?

No, Oetzi, I insist that you are wrong! The guy would have been a shearer, and to call a NZ man a sheep shagger - them's fightin' words! (Ask the Wraith, he'll confirm it.
As for 'shag' AFAIK, it's English slang. Screw is American. Did Oetzi just give himself away? Naughty boy!
(As Redpeck has given herself away... on another thread..)

Now Dell please don't threaten me with Wraith...we are buddies now.
Yes I see your point. I have always had trouble with communication and it's true New York would suit me fine.

But no I was born 7mls from here in NE England, the son of a SW Durham miner and proud of it. Pure northern working class lad.
Zero airs and graces but can mix with 'em all if and as required.
Nowadays I prefer K9s. I love them and they love me.

Not in my bit of England - we use every term you can imagine including shagging. smiley - smiley

Back me up, Jez... shagging is English... I remember some comedy with Ruby Wax saying she'd passed up some opportunities, because when someone asked 'want a shag' (when she'd just arrived in the UK) she'd say "no thanks, I already have carpet..."
Screwing is, appropriately enough, American, smiley - aliensmile

Hi, Della. English kids have long tended to chuckle just becase of one word in the first line of the following ditty:

The common cormorant or shag
Lays eggs inside a paper bag.
The reason you will see, no doubt:
It is to keep the lightning out.

But what these unobservant birds
Have never noticed is that herds
Of wandering bears will come with buns
And steal the bags to keep the crumbs.

I learned that poem for some parent thing back when I was 10, Toxxin. I always loved it, especially my father's reaction (he was from England.)
