*Ming feels a humming vibration about her person, sourced approximately where she put that strange orb thing... Meanwhile, Zack inspects the damage*

Your place, huh? Boy, you really know how to throw a party. *tries not to break anything, realises that most anything is already broken* You also really know how to throw away your no-claims bonus... your premiums are gonna soar, sheesh...*inspects the rubble further. His attention is caught by a minute detail. He stops to pick the minute detail up*

Well, at least now we know who the guest of honour was...*shows IE a small enamel badge of the Evil Genii insignia, Zack scowls*... All this time, I've run the machine I've been trying to stop. *clenches the badge in his fist*... I've dealt with EG before, but obviously it was all just a rouze to keep me on side.

I only know of one person with such a penchant for destruction, his outlook on life is decidedly 'Heavy'.

*Rolls eyes*
You think they're not high enough already? I'm telling you, a superhero defintely pays the highest rates of home insurance in the world! And the life insurance people have a ball, despite the fact HP can't kill me. Why do you think I can only afford to live in such a dump?

*Looks at the badge and sighs*
I might have guessed, but I can't think quite what they might have been looking for...

What is it that they want from you to try do hard to keep your loyalty? No offence but you must be worth a lot to them...

I've not heard of this 'Heavy' person? I've not run into him before. Who is he?

*suddenly feels vibrating in her pocket*
*digs through pocket very very rapidly, finds the source of the vibrations, which she now realises is humming as well*
*drops it on the floor in terror*
*a hand slips into another pocket and closes on a good solid stone*
*the sphere vibrates more and more and the humming gets increasingly louder until the whole bus is shaking*

*Zack motions for silence and moves to the window looking down on the street, he sees the bus shaking*

Erm... our ride is rumbling, and I don't think it has a massage function.

*makes for the door and sails down the stairwell to the street. The bus is now convulsing, looking much like an annoyed bull faced with an annoying spaniard and an even more annoyingly coloured table cloth. Zack shouts to Ming*

What did you do?!

*Inside the bus, the sphere begins to throb with a dim creamy glow, starkly contrasting its metallic appearance, while making a defyingly shrill throbbing noise. Ming makes a mental note that special effects technology has not yet appeared to reach this level of specialness, especially not in the movies she's seen.*

*yelling so she can be heard*
I didn't do anything! I didn't do anything!!
*having been woken up, suddenly bursts into action*
*starts hitting the sphere with the stone as hard as she can, but this doesn't seem to affect it at all*
*is now thoroughly terrified and jumps out of the bus as she'd decided to do earlier*
