Is Double Dutch another one of those difficult types of accents/dialects to understand too Linus?
Congratulations on your amazing and truly heroic adventure Hypatia, which gives us all the more of an excuse to celebrate!
*Notices that Caerwynn is eyeing Thog and ing*
I'd better give that woman some toast and Marmite before she murders Thog!
*Dashes out to the kitchen and after much clattering and odours of burned toast, emerges bearing a huge platter of dripping toast and Marmite*
Just for you Caerwynn...

Gwennie! You are a mind reader!

===========~~~~~
I'm feeling a little peckish myself. And would someone tell me what marmite is. Is it apple butter?

Wrinkled Rocker Posted Mar 20, 2003
Marmite is a dark brown spread extracted from yeast.
It's looks rather like Bovril or Oxo meat spread but veggiematarians can eat it too!
Save the animals - kill a plant today!

Marmite is a by-product of the beer brewing industry, how to describe the tasty?
Hmmmmmmmm it is savoury, salty, tangy and a little goes a long way. It looks not unlike coal tar!

I think Double Dutch is when you date a pair of twins from Amsterdam and they both pay for themselves.
*thinks: If it's a pair of twins, what exactly are they talking about? Only one thing where there would be two of two of them that I can think about for the moment - eyes of course!*

Ah! Marmite does tend to make one rather thirsty Caerwynn!
See you all in the latter half of next week peeps! I'm deserting my family and am off to make fool of myself at a school reunion in London with friends I haven't seen for over 30 years...
