*Freya dips his head in respect for RF's honor.*
[Freya] i would prefer that this sacred place not be the site of a battle...... but i will hardly stand by and allow it to be under the thumb of the ACF...... *glances at sea* and you madam?

~in a foxhole outside the Musehome Red Dog checks list of Dragonflys pro-Cat activities and assorted misdemeanours. The crump of Muse-mortars firing cheesecakes is heard outside amid the roar of diving Sopwith Pups~
Let me see now ....
Charge 1 - that she did with secretly supply armor, ammo, special stratgies and transportation to the Cat cause on more than one occasion.
Charge 2 - that she did insist upon being put on the Anti-Cat Federations `most wanted` list with full realisation of the consequences.
Charge 3 - that she did waggle her butt in a flirtatious manner intended to distract an ACF officer whist engaged in Cat War duties. Not normally a misdemeanour I admit but these are dangerous times and it could have gone off whilst pointed in my direction .
~ponders for a moment~
*ducks heavy-duty round of cheesecake*
~Concludes that it was not simply a matter of donating the odd cheesecake and supporting from the sidelines but was a systematic delivery of munitions to the Cats. Hopes RedFish realises this and comes to his senses~
*switches on megaphone*
SQWWWAAARRKKKKKK .... ooops, if you come quietly with us we'll say no more of this and wipe the slate clean - we need something of value to replace our lost Tiger Rug Trophy. All you need do is present yourself at A626654 and we'll handle the rest from there.
If you`re in any doubt about our determination have you visited the History Library recently ?
heh heh heh heh

RedFish
....::Looking at Freya, and after having spoken to Hermes, she suddenly remembers.... "Duh, I could just snap my fingers and the Musehome will disappear like Brigadoon...Herrrmmm...":;
::beckons to her comrades to see what they think of that plan... it would take all her snapping powers for the rest of September... but... it'd mean the safety of innocent Muses and the Musehome... but then... Red Fish might not stay on our side... HERRRRMMMM...::
::chocolate-chip cheesecakes fly at the AFC, the chocolate chips flying in every direction like shrapnel::
DANGEROUS!!!!

*switches on megaphone again*
SQWWWAAARRKKKKKK .... bugg*r and blast the thing, oh we`re on ... sorry about that, right ....... errr OK COME ON OUT *adjusts volume*
come on out we have you surrounded. Come quietly and all will be well. Oh and no clicking of fingers see - that weapon of mass destruction has been outlawed along with Dorothy's red slippers and would be a needless escalation.
Just turn yourself in at A626654 and all will be well - you`ll get good treatment and we`ll be lenient on you. Trust us

YEAH RIGHT!!!
You forget we have YOU surrounded... by the GREEK ARMY!!!
::several hundred AFC troops turn around and start to wimper... more than half of them go into the fetal position while the others scurry around, some making a run for it, and others hiding behind the stronger men::
::giggles::

I think you must be mistaken all I can see if Greek Soldiers wearing some form of white TuTu things and dodgy footwear with large pom-poms. My lot are curled up in foetal positions with laughter and are leaning on each other having been all laughed out.

paulh, vaccinated against the Omigod Variant Posted Sep 5, 2001
Dragonfly, could the Musehome be moved to a neutral
spot--Heaven, for example? It would be perfectly safe,
as I hear that God has great defense systems?
Just a thought.
Another consideration: maybe the dog-cat dispute is
aggravated by the heavy identification of dogs with
men and cats with women. If some of the lady muses
could step forward and tell how much they love
dogs, and the gentlemen muses speak fondly of cats,
the perception of bias in the MuseHome might be
alleviated.
In the real world, of course, cat and dog lovers come
in all shapes, sizes and genders. If you want a high-profile
dog-loving woman, try Queen Elizabeth. Men who love
cats? WQell, there's Cleveland Amory, to begin with.

I feel a sneeze coming on, too.
AHCHOO!
Sorry. I must be allergic to one of the cats nearby.
Either that, or lilacs are blooming in the next garden.
