*She stands on the steps near the doorway. The sun is shining brightly and everythings seems so fresh in her eyes*


*She giggles to herself as she watches a Huge man attempting to sew the dummies together .. His hands holding a tiny needle as he pulls all the straw back inside, then he sews with quick movements .. inspects his work and nods his satisfaction*

* He stands and walks towards her.. then she recoginises him.. the knight who made the remarks about her and the King. She quickly turns and moves back into the shadows in the corridor as he strides past her.. she follows him for a short distance.. He enters the room where she first wandered on her arrival at the castle*

So my lady, these are the grounds of the castle.

Over there are the tournement dummies that my brothers and i use for practice, Over here is the large peice of land the Falconer uses for training the King's birds and over there are the stables and mews for the beast and fowl of the King.

The gatehouse can be seen across the courtyard with the new captain recently installed. He'll certainly make sure that there uniforms shine bright and there pikes are held high and long.

The castle itself was first built in the 14th century but has had many parts added to and taken from it over the year. The castle at the moment is the largest building in the world and covers a huge area both above and,as you are in no doubt aware, below the ground. Some say the castle is so big that it warps the fabric of time and space by itself.

I myself choose not to live in the castle as i and my father and his father before him have run a little bar that is in some ways the only "new" place on the island. It's kept as a bar and feasting hall as it has been for a long time. It's not far if you wish to walk there. or we could progess into town and see some interesting features that King Paul had built, or if you are feeling tired we could progress inside again?

*Wanting to see and experience her new home she says.. *


Please.. can we see your bar? I would be most interested in hearing more about it..

*Dressed extremelly formally, Walks past lil and Sir Steve, without noticing them*

Of course, it is but a short walk. We will be passing through the gates to see the new captain and maybe go the long way through the streets to show you some things that might be of intrest.

King Paul, King Paul..

Obviously lost in his own thoughts. He seems to be that way more and more.

*engrossed in her conversation, she doesn't notice the King*


Of course.. It would give me another chance to see the town.. it is so beautiful. You are lucky to live here ...

*Lil had a full day wandering with Big Steve, unfortunately they didn't have time to see his home as she spent so much time looking about the town.*

*She found Big Steve to be very entertaining.. and when he said he would race her back along the lanes to the Castle.. she was laughing and squealing as he almost caught up with her.. Finally she reached the Castle Gateway... stopping to catch her breath before she would let the sentries see her in such a state.. *

Sir Steve, I thank you for such an entertaining time.. I must hurry and change for dinner.. *she curtsied and laughed as she ran off to her rooms*

*Shouting back into the castle, a custom made restite car is sitting outsite the castle, Slightly sporty but elegant, priceless but worth it* What do you think of her, one of the few Over the top luxuries i allow myself, i use it mostly for foreign visits, can't be bothered with chaufferes although i do have to have a police escort when out of Restite Island (Not by my choice). *Gets in the car and waits for lil to enter*

*Lil sinks into the luxurious leather seat.. her feet are on the softest of carpets*

It is beautiful Sire.. I don't blame you for choosing it!

Ok now i am going to take a detour first, heads through the grounds, just to prove a point.

*looks back as she sees people staring and pointing*

The flying pig training grounds first i think. There are two portals this is the less deadly one.

*stares straight ahead feeling terrified*

*Enters again, and pulls up to the castle door, now would you like a drink in the dining room , Lil, he runs round to open her door for her*

*nods.. not trusting her voice*

Enters castle*

*her shoes sound very loud in the corridors*
