I'm actually a bartender IRL. As far as my special abilities, I am not at liberty to discuss them right now. (Lawsuits pending.)

I install sound systems in pubs and clubs but am looking for full time employment as "Tequila drinker / h2g2 researcher". So I should get on with some more articles. This place could do with a substantial updates. There aren't even entries on all the countries of the world yet!! It's not much of a guide but it's getting there *slowly*.

Would you like some of this, It's reserved for special occasions. Don't believe what some people say about the 1800, it's a pure Anejo. Very smooth, oak smoke taste, slightly earthy, lovely.

Do you have any favorite spirits that the Drinks Cabinet doesn't stock?

Stoli Oranj is good. Maybe some Basil Hayden or Knob Creek would make a nice addition. But tequilla sounds good right now.

Stoli Oranj, haven't tried it but I liked to look of the stoli web site. I got a taste for vodka when I lived in Moscow for 3 months in '89 '90 ish. Stolichnya straight or Moscovskya. There's a spicey chilli vodky called "Hunters Vodka" (but in Russian). I've never seen it outside Russia but it knocked me off my chair. I presume Knob Creek is an Ausie wine but what the H3ll is Basil Hayden. More impotantly where can we get some.

~speaks normally~ I just mixed up my first couple of RL Pierced Nipples (one for each) had a seperation problem with the layers that I hadn't forseen so I tried to pour them as three layers (Sambucca, Baileys, Tequila, bottom to top) and decided that the fisrt method was more entertaining. Blinding drink, you should try one sometime. I think there's a virtual one on top of the Drinks Cabinet as we speak if you'd like it.

Knob creek sounds like some kind of Ausie wine. There's a wine in the offie (booze shop) called "Utter B*****d", good name.

I tried it once before IRL (in real life) but genaral apathy and forgetfulness were the rule of the day. That's why the Drinks Cabinet exists. If we spend enough time here then we can go back over the posts and try to make sense of all of it. Just pick out the bits of enlightenment from all the other good conversations. If you try to make something special then people try too hard and it all ends up as a big mess.

Anyway, time to sleep.

Mina, hope the backlog doesn't confuse you. The "Pierced Nipple" is definatly worth trying.

Yes, I was out IRL ~hangs head in shame~ I think I'm getting addicted to it. I think that offering me choclatey things is maybe a wee bit sexist. Not all women like that sort of thing. All that's missing from the Drinks Cabinet is erm, ah, well.....nothing as far as I can see!
