The Nowhere2Go2 site is nothing to do with H2G2 but is related. it was formed when H2G2 closed down for a "short time" (several weeks) and the users of H2G2 had withdrawal symptoms. They scurried round the net looking for somewhere to live. Their numbers were depleted and they lost contact with each other. Small pockets slowly grew into a network of support groups helping each other through the great "Nowhere 2 Go 2", as the void came to be known.
When H2G2 returned it had new overlords, the BBC. A fine upstanding organisation but one whose, almost Victorian, moral standards severely damaged many sections of the community. They all needed somewhere where their thoughts wouldn't be "moderated" (a new Labour spin term for censorship). Outcasts and groups of resistance have banded together but still have no home. This is the stage we are at now. Homeless and fragmented. But there is hope...
...Thanks to Shea the Sarcastic for the banner on the site. I'll be working on getting other things looking straight, and the links into some kind of order very soon.
Sorry, but you have to log into the email accounts and the forums with different names and passwords. I'm trying to arrange some server space where I can co-ordinate the forums with remote hosting of the webmail service but I don't have time at the moment.
