*Kes decides to finish what he has started*

Where was I - yes ..

..until the stable boy could see only the Lady of Broken Hearts. He became her slave, addicted to the taste of those lilac lips ... sorry lilac wine.
Then, just as the evil Lady came to carry him away, ... er, the Princess, er, she the Princess realised what was happening, and coated the wine cup with some magic lipstick, no! magic powder.
The stable boy was ready to take the last drink of lilac wine - the drink that would enslave him forever, but when he raised the cup to his lips, there was a far sweeter taste ... that reminded him of the Princess who had been his friend.

He woke up from the spell, and ran quickly, back to the Mansion to find the Princess.. Can I come back to you, Princess? he asked her ... We could stay for ever and ever. And he waited for her reply.

It will be a happy ending, Lintilla (I hope).
Peaceful knows how it will end - you finish the story, Peaceful.

* Not sure if Kes is whispering at her like mad... but she sure knows it is definitely time to dig too!!!

* But where should they begin???

*looking into peacefuls eyes and nodding in a form of child like understanding.*

But i can accept water from kes right? he is good isn't he?

*she scoots over closer to peaceful.*

* It's time to dig now!!!

Lintilla, do you mind very much if we finish the story a bit later? We think we'd better help Kiddo with his task...

Yes, child, you can trust Kes with anything except a good stamp... everyone has their little weaknesses, you know...

* She smiles, though she feels they had better get a good start...

It's alright, Lintilla. The Princess's Mummy and Daddy - the Queen and King - came back to the land, and they made the stable boy into ... a Knight, yes, and he stayed with the Princess in her rich palace. Yes.
Hmm? What happened to the other lady?
Oh, well, I don't know. The story .. well it stops there.
Now time for a real adventure.
Shall I tell you about the Buried Treasure Adventure we're going to have?

Now - here's the adventure.
Look - you two - just stop digging.
You're just digging little holes all over the place. Stop.
What do we know? What did Kiddo and GB say about something buried? Think!

Well, since Kiddo's having so much fun digging... that is really a hard job, y'know... we thought we'd better lend a hand.

We are looking for a buried treasure. This is an island... so there has to be a treasure...

You can help, if you want to... but since you're so small, you can just sit and watch and fetch things for us when we need them...

KES! I don't understand this is all new. whats going on???

*thinks to herself about that logic*
that sounds right. islands do always have treasure. but i dont just want to sit here. I have an idea.

*Kes has half an idea. If something has been buried here, the sand will have been disturbed. He walks towards the rocks at the back of the beach for an overall view.
*Unfortunately, the tide has been in and out - all the sand is mooth - apart from the mess the amateur moles are making!
*He steps back again, and trips over a strange device*
Ow! What's this?

* Scurries quickly towards the rocks and discovers the metal detector!!!

*Dig Dig Dig Dig*

Kiddo: Whew man. *Dig* *Hardly paying attention to the others on the beach.* *Dig*

You all know that i am friends with ox, eatsmice, and odra, aye?
well i was also part of "the fire" which needn't be mentioned again. I am much younger here (dont ask why) but i still know all about te pyrotechnics...fire is something i'm good at. soo.....

*Peaceful is busily digging, so Kes takes the thing to Lintilla*
Hey! Look at this! It's got a tag on it that says "Property of Galaxy Babe - Hands Off - This Means You"
and lettering down the side: Acme Magic Wand and Metal Detector Company - MkII (MkI recalled for safety reasons)"
