h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

*GL enters with a tall, thin man and a shorter, handsome dark-haired man. They are followed by a black-clad army of about 1000 troops, complete with strange weapons, ships and land vehicles.*

May I introduce Seriy Volk and Mr. Liebe. They are both from Atlantis and were brought here through the Krylma Leader's machine. When I entered his hangar and saw the machine, I deduced what it was for and realized that we were too late to stop him. So I decided to use his machine to bring Volk and his Atlanteans here to counterbalance KL's forces. While everyone else was battling, I modified his machine and quietly brought these forces here. Volk needs some time to assess the situation and plan in a secure place. That is why I have brought him here.

*A black-clad figure approaches Volk, salutes and speaks to him in a low voice. Volk speaks to GL, who turns and addresses the heros.*

Volk has found an unused cavern just to the south of this one. It will suit his purposes perfectly and if no one objects, he will set up his command base there. He has outlined some equipment needs and CLI will be working to fill those.

*Sounds of constuction can be heard to the south.* Hey, everyone. Did you hear that the Rat-Ant colony in the Majic Woods has been destroyed! KL got 20 Rat-ants and the colony was raising more for him, but it has now been wiped out and the Queen of the colony was kidnapped. This is excellent news since it means that KL can expect no more Rat-ant recruits. And the best part is that it was a Rat and an Ant that destroyed the Rat-ant colony. How appropriate, eh? I'm thinking of advertising. Anyone else think this is a good idea?

Yeah, that'll probably be good. That way, we can have people coming for help whenever they have cats stuck up trees.

Do I detect a hint of sarcasm in your voice? I meant advertise for new members, dummy.

That would probably be good. And yes, there was a touch of sarcasm. But I also think ads would be a good idea for us to let people know that we're here to help them. Although, it would be a problem having everyone coming to us for help in everything.

2+2 is four, unless you're using higher math. In which case, it equals just about what ever you want it to equal.

I think advertising would be good. We could use a few more members, and besides, I like cats. I have some wonderful recipes.

Cats are neat. I remember a specific cat. Took me an hour to bury it. The darn thing kept moving.

Sorry, I couldn't resist saying something like that. I've a wealth of cat jokes, even though I've got nothing against them (aside from the fact that if they were the same size as you, you would go from owner to dinner).
