Right now not so cold anymore.. it was minus 15..20 for a while.
Centre is amazing: all French fashion shops (with prices to match the name). Doesn't match with average wages (<500 USD p/month). Very few Porsches, Lamborghinis and Maseratis and sofar I noted only two Rolls Royces. The other 10 MRussians just have Moskvas, Ladas and similar.
A954155 shows a bit. Not a bad place to be (if you've money to spend).

as far as I am concerned it is too cold for anyone in winter The mechanical de-icing mechanism on my upperlip fails at about minus 18 (Celsius that is)

It's 52 degrees farenheit here, according to my weather page. I've seen 0 farenheit twice.
I have this cat that loves being toasty. She insists on sleeping under the blankets on cold nights, very similar to a hot water bottle. I have found her sleeping on my hair more than once.

Cats have fur coats! They are comfortable in the cold.
My is happy in the snow.. mice move relatively slow when cold

My pets are just spoiled and . Years ago, I lived in Baton Rouge, close to a college campus. The houses were so old that most of them had mice. Our dog, a terrier mix would mousehunt(and catch them).
The dog and cat have their pictures on my photo page, click the folder titled photos. The Halloween folder is also a public folder. H2G2 won't allow pictures on our user pages so I created an online page of photos.

My is spoiled as well. He just sleeps and goes out to hunt only when absolutely unavoidable. He is now 9 kg (probably a bit more)... We have quite a rough love-hate relationship. He assumes that he is the dominant male in the house, I assume than I am the dominant male... This usually results in conflicts; hissing and howling. Up to now I won.. being almost 70 kg heavier. (also more area to scratch and more veins to scratch open.. did you ever notice the size of a cat's front teeth?.. I did )

Xena, doesn't bite much, even when we play rough. George, a that used to live here(and several other places) would play rough with everyone including every cat on the block. I had to put so much peroxide on that yellow cat I started telling people he was a brunette when he was a kitten.

Peroxide was the only thing I could use to disinfect George's wounds. And, he had plenty of wounds. Then I had to give him a bit of tuna each time so he would speak to me again...spoiled .

Spoiled! Yes .. usually no need to disinfect, just of he gets sick.. gotta clean real serious wounds, that costs both of us blood. You just wrap the monster in a and clean the wound with the remaining edge of the That obviously hurts so when you release him you get scratched & bitten.
Tuna..?? Never!
( takes care of a lot of food.. caught a chicken in the neighbours kitchen once.. he wasn't hungry for a week after that )

George got a couple of bites on his head(near his ears) that became infected. The veterinarian showed me how to scruff him really tight with one hand and pour peroxide with the other hand...wait a few moments and then use cotton(wool, or gauze) to clean the wound. I had to do that three times a day at least any time he had a cut that he couldn't clean. Even had to administer liquid antibiotics to that in much the same way. George looked a lot like Garfield the cartoon cat.

I started like that.. got nothing but scratched hands and arms..
So I caught the monster in a , rolled him in it..
not a lot of chance to scratch with four paws hooked in a !
Jaws were somewhat more risky

You ever look at the out the corner of your eye and catch them staring at you...kind of like they are plotting something, or is that just our ?

That is "cattish". Proper and civilised is to glance alongside your cat, close your eyes and look another way. Do that and your cat will immediately think "one of us.. well educated too".
Look straight into a cat's eyes then prepare for war.
Look out of the corner of your eye then you send the signal "watch it furhead... I'm watching you..".

Our cat doesn't seem to care one way ot the other who is staring at her. Unless, of course, they make a move that implies her getting fed...
