That would be great, thanks.
It's only 8:00 a.m. here. I was doing some Mardi Gras preparations this morning.

Considering the type of spam I get, that would be horrifying

IT IS Tomorrow .. over here as well.. and I completely forgot (starts to think of a reason for that.. fails to come up with one.... .. .. .. ..)
(oh, and the e-mail.. I have different accounts.. one for spam and rubbish (give that to companies requireing you to fill in an e-mail address), one for private e-mails, two for company e-mails, ...) I never bother with the spam account, just empty it once a week)

Carnival season begins on January 2nd and lasts until Fat Tuesday(Shrove Tuesday). The big parades start this weekend and last until Tuesday night(11 p.m, usually). The smaller parades started two weeks ago.
It's March 1st here. G.M.T.-6 timezone.
I have several email accounts: some have a screen name only my closest friends would recognize as not being spam, others have h2g2 screen names for emailing other researchers and the other accounts have more or less my real name attached(business and family). Lately, yahoo has decided that nothing is considered spam.

IRL I'm switching time zones.. GMT+1..GMT+3. The GMT+3 zone doesn't do any carnival and that is probably why I more or less didn't notice.. The GMT+1 zone does organise carnival..
(*makes note: make a few phonecalls later tonight*)

I live an hour from New Orleans. It's impossible not to notice...the day after Christmas the stores are simultaneously decorated for Christmas, New Year's, Valentine's Day, and Mardi Gras.

Ah, near New Orleans.. of course.. Here is a small difference.
I was in Moscow for the last month..
No such thing as carnival there (excepting a very small group probably.. but then that group may have carnival all through the year)
