All right, there's mine and Evangeline's float at the front. I'm driving it and Evangeline's standing in the back throwing beads and stuff. The float is in the shape of a big dragon in traditional Mardi Gras colours, with big wide wings. On the back of the dragon are princes and pincesses, fairies, knights, wizards, and all manner of fairy story paraphernalia which looks like it may fall over at any moment, but never does. All very flashy and pretty, rolling around the muddy Campsite field.
Feel free to describe your float moving along behind, or just join in the enjoyment!

Bagheera pads along, with purple and gold ribbons tied around the tip of his tail.
Fan of Stonecold S.A., he is tossing cans of Bud to everyone along the route

We're not going very fast, so no-one will probably mind if I drink-and-drive. Toss me a can, Bagheera!

It looks right on my monitor, however depending on the font, I think it might look a tad skewed or something...
peace.

Dreamweaver leaps athletically on to Espharoth's shoulders , carrying a large basket of freshly-baked Semlor (Swedish Mardi Gras ) which she throws to everybody.
For Semla recipe drop a note on Bagheera's PS

*The parade moves on round the outside, before it starts to go through the middle of the Campsite. Now it is nearing the fishing lake.*
I'm getting down to the music and enjoying the parade! Who needs a high budget and a big city to enjoy Mardi Gras.

That's quite a float you've got there. Made entirely from sheep, is it? Reminds me of Wallace & Gromit.

The more floats the better!!!!!
and it isn't even Mardi Gras day yet
I love Wallace and Grommit!!!
Do we have any musicians yet? Maybe a or two? And where are the other campers?

That's what we need! A band. I'm afraid I've got both of my hands full, what with my beer and the wheel of the buggie and, besides, I can't play to save my life. Come along, let's get something together!

*pulls out a washtub bass from his backpack*
*messes up on the notes, but it sounds not too horrible anyway*
*enjoys the parade from his perch on the sheep float*
