Not sure if this counts as talking to myself
Still, at least I'll have someone intelligent to talk to
Good to see some (virtual) Outdoor Types awake and stirring on the Camp Site as soon as the weather starts to improve

hello everyone
this has been quite a quiet post for awhile, eh?

Looks like the weather might bring a few more people out!

If I were the sort to run from weather, I'd never be more than a metre from the door, what with the rate the sky changes right now.

If I talk to myself, will anyone else pop along to find out WHY
Campsite posts used to figure regularly on the Busiest Conversations List, but have been absent for some time now
Does anyone else want to "Pick up the ball and run" (William Ellis Webb) with the BATTERY RECYCLING idea?
(see Bagheera's PS)

Time to get the Campsite looking its best before the HooToo Pub Crawl over the weekend!
Thought I'd dust off my own campsite instead of putting a 'shout' on the Notice Board
Espharoth's ready to keep the 'barbie going, and I've brewed a couple of barrels of Bagheera's Best Bitter which are in place and settling, ready for tapping .... Hope Evangeline will have some delicious gumbo for us
Volunteers for Bar/Kitchen duty would be appreciated

Hi Bagheera:
Someone's been going around inviting
H2G2's dragons to come here for a pub
crawl. What exactly do dragons have to do
with pubs?
Nancy the Dragon is willing to do what she
can (namely eat hot curries and get her breath
hot and fiery), but doesn't want to be bored....
NANCY: Um, Paul, you may be missing the point.
I haven't been drunk in a looooooong time.
If I'm with other dragons, I don't have to worry
about incinerating them with my breath, 'cause
they're protected by thick scales.
So bring on the drinks, and I'll be stinking
drunk! HEEHEEHEE!
PAUL H: That's what I was afraid of.

Espharoth is looking forward to meeting like-minded dragons socially over the weekend: she doesn't mind tending the Barbie or warming Dreamweaver's infamous Dönderglögg at the [frequent!] parties we've held at the Campsite, but she likes to 'let her (hair?scales?) down once in a while and get well and truly herself ...
Espharoth: [dragonspeak] "'Nuff said, Bagheera!
Nancy! What'll it be??

Bagheera, the (one of these days that is going to work as a real smiley...) is simmering over my campfire. I hope there is enough to go around.

What would we do without you !!
I've got a cauldron of Coronation Chicken bubbling, and wild rice to serve alongside
[If it goes cold, it can also be enjoyed as a salad]

Post Pub Crawl Party declared ! [and why not!!]
*rips open crate of Jamesons, starts pouring double measures*
(I'm sure the sun must be over the (Virtual) yardarm SOMEWHERE in h2g2 land . . . )
Key: Complain about this post
