*sits down in an empty chair and stares down at the crew in the gate room*

*The gate opens and the team go through. The gate closes. A minute or two passes, and the gate reopens. The iris is closed, but Nuge's IDC code comes through*

That was quick. Too quick...

What's going on

The Captain took a team back to P3X-888 to scout it out, they entered the gate a few minutes ago, and they're already coming back.

That's strange

Open the iris Walter

*Walter opens the iris and the gurads stand by*

*Nuge and his team come through the gate, and open fire on the guards. Their eyes are glazed over. They tense up and collapse as a group of 20 Jaffa come through the Stargate. The gate remains open, and more Jaffa begin to come through*

CLOSE THE GATE AND SEAL THE GATEROOM!!!!

[Walter] Foothold in Gateroom, Foothold in Gateroom, All teams take position

Aries, any ideas?

*The Jaffa set up a cutting blaster and begin to cut through the blast doors leading towards the control room. More Jaffa keep coming through the gate, carrying equipment and weapons*

When the gate room is sealed isn't it airtight?

We could flush a gas through the ventilation to knock them out. Would work long enough to restrain them. Just make sure it isn't a flammable gas. Don't want to damage anything else.

When they're out, purge the room again, make it breatheable.

I'll get some guards outside the door in case it doesn't work. Contact me if it works and I'll take my group in to assess the situation.

*runs out of the room*

*The gas begins to flow into the room. One Jaffa listens to the noise for a moment, and produces a hand scanner. He frowns at the readings*

[Jaffa:] "Jaffa! Kree tall! Kegalo! Ni'ya! Nowe! *Begins handing out gas-masks* Shor'wai'e! Yas! Yas!"

*The Jaffa all take gas masks and carry on working. They, as one, activate a button on a circlet wristband, which causes a device covering their symbiote pouches to glow*

*Team outside gate room pull on gas masks and arm themselves adequately*

*Makes several hand signals to his team members who all nod in agreement and take up defensive positions*

*A large standard with a glowing orb on top has been set up in the centre of the gate room. On the standard a great number of hieroglyphics are inscribed. The orb flashes brightly, knocking out security cameras <<>> A cloud of small machines rush out, and enter the security cameras around the gate room, which change shape, and begin sending out a holographic projection of a large, imposing man, wearing long, purple robes, a hawks-head helmet, and a sun-disc. The hologram solidifies as the orb begins projecting the image. The image of Montu begins to command the Jaffa*

*watches up and down the corridor as the previously called reinforcements flood into every conceivable position and bring their arms to bear on the sealed gate room door*

*Both blast doors are now being cut. The orb flashes again, and an electrical impulse charges through the surveillance system, rendering it useless and triggering an alarm, locking down the 28th basement floor entirely*

*Turns from the door for a moment and pulls out a zat'n'ktel from a box, turns back to the door and crouches down into a recess in the wall*

*A small hole is punched through the door by a cutting laser. A Goa'uld stun grenade is pushed through and activated*
