I envy you, as you seem to have all your X-mas s together. I didn't even start to look after until this very Saturday. And still have problems to catch something interesting, but totally unpractical

I don't blame Sporky for wanting to dissapear. I've had that feeling before. Back when I thought I might've been dangerously depressed. That wasn't a very good year.

There isn't even a Christmass Tree in our house yet. And, the week before Christmas, our school's drama program is putting on The Lottery. I don't think the directors considered what kind of plays should be put on a week before Christmas.

But, what would the holidays be like without someone getting ritually stoned, right?

Later. Enjoy sleep. I won't get to tonight. It's not night time yet, but I know what'll happen. After I get home at about nine o'clock, I'll stay up until approximately midnight, and enjoy less than eight hours of sleep (which isn't that different for me, it's just that it's the weekend before midterms and I should be doing fun stuff and getting to sleep in. Oh, well. It's the price I pay for having a belief system.

*Checks his watch*

Well, I should probably be going. I don't have much else to do in VR. Guess I'll go outside and enjoy the snow. You know, make one of those things that you're supposed to appreciate at a later age. What are they again?

*Thinks for a moment and snaps his fingers*

A memory! I'll go outside and make a memory that doesn't involve a computer screen. Okay, guess I'd better run now. Later!

>Oh boy, spent all day in the new house today. We got started in the third bedroom, painting it that is. We got half way through doing the first wall, when we found a crack in the old paint. We scraped away at it, and found that all the old paint was falling off the walls! We had to spend at least a couple of hours getting rid of the old stuff, before sanding the bare walls down again, filling in some cracks here and there, and eventually painting it all over again!<

No tree here either, unless you count the little ceramic table ornament I got out of the box and plugged in. If nobody but me and the dog will be here, why should I unpack the fake tree and wrestle with the damn lights?

And I have so much to do. My runaway perfectionism is interfering with the completion of my web site. I want to install this Alice game and play it, but am also afraid of the hours it will undoubtedly suck up.

Professor, I've been there. Papered a room with old newspapers once, cos it was so badly cracked, and then painted over it.

I can report the Cosmopolitan Club dart section's Christman function held last night was excellent... plenty of subsidised food and booze.

A quiet day today - resting the body ahead of the Cosmopolitan Club staff and committee members Christmas function to be held tomorrow night... plenty of free boose and food.

Actually, because I only got 5.5 hours kip. Still, I had a good time last night. It's wonderful when you have a few beers and your neighbour decides to let you rifle through his old vinyl collection.
Bit of an early 80's revival last night. Pity I had to come to work this morning, and now I am stuck here in town until late tonight when I shall either get the train home in an extreemly inebriated state, or if i'm too far gone, my partner has agreed to come and pick me up!
The joys of going out for beers with your shift buddies, (and again this coming friday which will be better)

Just got the Christmas tree put up today. Now all I have to do is decorate it. This ought to be fun, cleaning up pine needles! Yay!

Affy, new in NZ this year. Plastic Christmas trees that look a la natural. You spray them with pine tree scent to add to the ambience. I'm not sure if you have to clean up plastic pine needles after Christmas...
