*The boston cream pie splats onto the side of PM's head. PM scoops cream into his mouth as a pie-Frisbee whisks his way. The Frisbee trajectory arcs up just out of the monster's reach, then starts back the way it came, with the monster in pursuit. He stops when another pie arrives and hovers over his head. PM jumps, but the pie remains out of his reach. He begins looking around for something to stand on and spies a flaming pie with a man on it.*

YUM! ME NEVER HAD PIE FLAMBE!

*Starts off towards the flaming pie*

[Ripley] *almost fully grown, Ripley sharpens his claws while regarding the Pie Monster with contempt*

*Sees Affy's special boomerang pie coming back in her direction.*

* in a zigzag pattern, mostly just to see how the pie plate reacts.*

*is jostled awake by a sense of movement*

Who? What? Where?!

*Is nocked from her resting place by a large chunk of pie shrapnel. *


Whaaaa....

*Falls to the ground. *
*looks around at the chaos and panicking slightly hides under the lid if a teapot which is on the picnic table.*


[OOC I want to join in but my internet time is limited due to small child. For those who dint know me u'im a 3 inch tall mouse with a sensitive nose I do have use of a miniature flying saucer, but as its made of myffewump I won't use it on this adventure. Also I'm mostly posting from my 'smart' phone so excuse my spelling more like legs than normal. [OOC]

*from inside the teapot distinct sniffling and licking sounds cab be heard as the mouse identifies the pie filling and cleans it off*

Hmmm strawberry, I suppose it could have been worse.

*now clean the tiny mouse emerges from the teapot*
*she surveys the scene with an air of caution, noting pies flying in all directions, Salonistas verywhere cries and pies flying*

What on earth! Oh well if I head over there -> I can ride on flamedancer, as long as Amy and flamedancer dint mind. Um not much use at throwing pies unless there's any mouse sized ones on that trolley

*scammers off to investigate, nimbly dodging several more chunks of pie shrapnel en route.*

*Affy watches the pie plate seeming to chase Witty through the air in an elaborate, though strangely graceful, series of improbable arcs*

That's... a strong indicator for the Crater Toy label...

*Notes the Pie Monster's eagerness to pursue any pastry in its immediate vicinity, and backs away, wondering if there were any convenient pits nearby into which a pie could be tossed*

Curse my lack of interest in the surveyor reports of the landscape!

With pies being flung at an alarming rate. Tod dons a pie repellent hat complete with goggles.

*a rumbling noise can be heard on the dirt path that leads from CLI through the forest to the beach*

*half a dozen bots appear hauling a trebuchet about the size of a horse, which they immediately wheel into position by pie safe #7 and aim it roughly toward the pie monster. They wind the mechanism taut, load the trebuchet with a cold key lime pie, and let fly*

SPANGGGG!

*Yar watches the distracted Pie Monster, and sends the hovering pie straight at it, attempting to hit it from behind!*

WAAAAAAAMMMMMMM!!!!!

*The key lime pie slams into the Pie Monster and bowls him over. He tumbles backwards, summersaulting (with an accidental double salchow followed by a triple axel with a half twist) until he lands up against an old log, some distance down the beach. He sits there, stunned for a few moments, until he catches his breath.*

WHAT HIT ME?

*Looks down at his chest, which has about a 6 inch deep layer of key lime on it. He dips a finger in and licks it.*

KEY LIME! MY FAVOURITE!

*Sees furry-thing get knocked away from Ripley*

*snorts*

*lowers nose to nuzzle , having learned doesn't like to be licked, for some strange reason--would *never* eat packmate!*

*muses on strangeness of pack*

We are going about this the wrong way. That entity ~wants~ to be hit with pies. Well, it wants pies, and we're obliging it.

*notices the pies still in the air* Hmmmm. Yar, could you use that talent to create a pie decoy? Or would the frisbee pie work? Maybe we --

SPANNNGGG!

*absent orders to the contrary, the bots have adjusted the trajectory, reloaded, and fired another key lime pie at the cookie monster*

*The now-familiar SPANG noise makes PM look up sharply from his chest. Being some distance down the beach, he has a few moments to react. He stands up and leans towards the incoming pie, bracing himself with one foot back against the log. He opens his mouth as wide as it goes and lines up with the pie rocket.*

WAAAAAAMMMMMMMMM!

*PM is knocked backwards and has to take 3 or 4 backwards steps, but remains standing. He swallows. He grins.*

Noticing the pie monster enjoys being fed pies, even when they come at high velocity. Tod changes tactic and sneaks up behind the pie monster and gives it a poke with a Pooh stick. Then having used up his bravery quota for the morning runs and hides behind the samovar.

*Thinks: That's not how we played Poohsticks in my day...*

*Whirls around after being poked. Sees tod run behind the samovar. Scowls.*

ME DEAL WITH YOU LATER.

AFTER MORE PIE.

*Starts stalking towards the trebuchet and its pie supply, scowl still on face, remains of pie still on chest. Absently scoops pie from chest with one finger, leaving a target shape on his chest.*

*jumps off the cruise ship in which he has been cruising round the med, outside of contact, legs it to the pie stand, grabs as many as he can carry (42) and pegs it back*

[Yar] Hmm, okay ... How about this!

*He telekinetically grabs a few pooh-sticks, which still have the same green glow, and send them directly at the pie monster's "target".*
