Oh, yes! I saw hygienicdispensers name, and thought of calling him(her?) Hygge, which would amuse our Danish researchers, since it means something along the lines of having good, pleasant, social interactions. Trevligt would be the Swedish word. And trevligt could be shortened to Trev, and extended to Trevor.
And then associations go on to Pooh, or Piglet, who had an uncle called Trespassers Will, which was short for Trespassers William.
Which reminds me of the band Trespassers, who clearly consists of Four spassers, another joke that goes better in Danish than in English.

Can someone stop my brain again please? It's having too much fun for my own good.

Oh dear - why was it yourself breaking the news and not a lecuturer of some sort?

Since my promotion I'm the Course Support Advisor for the Film and Television Programme, and it's now my job to do that. As many of the lecturers who were supposed to do that sort of thing didn't, they decided to get the Admin staff to do it instead. Not fun.

<BB<. That sounds like a stressful situation for you, too. I've had to fire people or put them on report. It sucks.

My schedule change is starting to feel more natural. The dogs sure don't like it, though. The longer hours are worth it. I enjoy having 3 day weekends. Not that I'm getting one this weekend or several weekends between now and Christmas. Library programs in conjunction with my Civil War exhibit.

This morning came too early, as so very many do. Our team did win the pub trivia last night - scoring 88 of a possible 96 points and beating our nearest competitor by 17.

And now we have our customer appreciation/Halloween party at work. *pretends to be wide awake*

In news, The Royal Society has put every single paper it has ever published online. The RS was founded in 1665. I'm currently reading "An Account of the Hobourable Robert Boyle's way of examining Waters as to Frefhnefs and Saltnefs."

We were The Strawberry Shortcake Amalgamation - so named because I was the only original TSS_ member there and the team absorbed three others (one of our regular quizmasters, the boyfriend of the quizmaster being trained last night, and the regular quizmaster's father).

I am back from my Scottish adventures and find noohootoo up and running. Fantastic . A big slap on the back and 's to all those involved in the move.
