FG - Perhaps A75578 will clear your confusion. Or just add to it.

Sorry about your nerves, MR - sounds like it's time to take a break!
I would think that an ambassador-style dinner would require an elegant severely-cut ivory dress, with small beads sewn on by small Oriental children. I shall endeavor to find one immediately... And Wensleydale wouldn't be amiss on the cheese tray - I've always wanted to try some.
We got a lot of rain yesterday. Not enough, but at least the yard is now green in spots instead of a weird crispy brown and purple.

MR. How long will you have to wear the wrist splint? What are you doing for the pain?
Baggers, I have a slight problem with your map. When the map is tiny it looks like I'm in the right place. But when it is enlarged, I'm not even close. So, shall I do it again and then you can delete the first one? Or am I stuck where I am?

Do it again, Hyp.
Mmmm, Wensleydale...
By the way, Mac users, according to Ottox the map does work with Macs. Perhaps they had bandwidth problems at the time or something.

After years of trying to get a letter published in the Times I found out today that my blog got a name check in their week on the web ironically under the title Peer Review.

Well, I had my first taste of tap dancing and...
I didn't fall over, which is good. But I really couldn't do much beyond very, very basic steps. Unfortunately, I was the only one there who had literally never tapped before, and two of the six people in the group were really rather experienced, so the teachery person didn't want everyone to get bored, so I felt rather behind all the time. I shall attempt to drum things into my head during the week. It was fun, but I really wasn't very good at all.
Does anyone know how long a performance of As You Like It normally lasts? I'm seeing an outdoor version (in the ruins of St. Augustine's Abbey, which is right next to the campus that the LofD is based on) on Thursday night, so may just catch the end of Hyp's ceremony, but will definitely be here in spirit as well as completely involved in the Shakespearean frolics.

Mine does not include my link, but I am too lethargic to do anything about it. I have been going insane today with two cases.

How intriguing. It wouldn't let me put my pin in the map until I entered a link.

I need to be removed from the map so I can do it right.

I would think As You Like It wouldn't go over three hours.
I had the same problem with the map, Hypatia. I didn't realize how close I could zoom in, so my first attempt using the larger version I was in Missoula. When I finally added my link, moved in and adjusted it, I found that I had initially put myself 15 miles away, smack dab in the middle of a mountain IRL.

FG, that's where you'd rather be anyway, right?
I'm in the splint 24/7 for 2 weeks, and if it doesn't improve, she's sending me to a surgeon. She says that for carpal tunnel, there's no need to "wait and see" because if two weeks with a splint doesn't make it better, than nothing but surgery will.
