We've got builders at work. They're building a new building, and refurbishing three others. Yesterday it felt like someone was drilling under my feet... which is strange, as I didn't think they were doing stuff in that part of the building... *sympathy for all afflicted with noisy builders*

Last night's board meeting was a b***h. It lsted nearly 4 hours. I am seriously beginning to look forward to retirement.

Gosh not only has my blog made the times the local party website which I set up just at the right time or wrong time considering its suppoed initial birthdate. Was getting praise on the party intranet people thought that the sute hade been set up by the federal party only to be told by the Scottish Chief of staff that it was the intiative of the local party as was the sole responsibilty of me. Gulp!

Now I just have to keep up the good work.

It really pains me to have to say this, but last night Smellfungus was rational and made some good suggestions. And spoke much less than normal, which is probably the reason we aren't still in the stupid meeting.

We had three attorneys and three opinions. That's typical. The board voted to leave the money where it is and to request that the 501(c)3 board add two additional trustees to it's board of directors, which would effectively give control of the corporation back to the library. But, we may be looking at a lawsuit - or an attempted suit - from the losing party. So we have a temporary solution only.
