I think I need to ask if any of the bots can make me up a twilight blue bow tie and cummerbund set. That is of course the blue you get as the sun sinks over the horizon, slowly getting darker as the evening progresses.

What sort of music should we have? Nothing that overpowers the ability to have a quiet conversation, that's my main requirement.

What to wear. Decisions, decisions. First, it has to be comfortable. Can't enjoy a party properly in uncomfortable clothes or shoes. I'll probably wear my long black velvet skirt, which is very dignified in keeping with such a momentous occassion and long enough to let me get away with ballerina slippers for comfortable tootsies. The perfect top has as yet to be determined.

Yes I was thoroughly enjoying that programme too - Venice is one of my favourite cities, and it's always a joy to see it.

Just had a phone call from my parents informing me that my cousin's wife has just been safely delivered of twin boys (Thomas and Samuel). Both babies are doing well, as the news has come via the male side of the family I don't know the vital information of

1. What weights were they
2. Was it a C-Section or not? I'm sure it was - very rare to deliver twins vaginally nowadays.

This is particularly exciting news as I had forgotten she was pregnant and no one had told me that she was expecting twins.

All would have been preventing if they'd been on facebook!

Venice is indeed a lovely city , expensive though. Mind you it must be 20 years since I have been there. I do not imagine it has got any cheaper.
