I'd have been very worried if I'd know that they were expecting twins, so I'm glad I didn't, because there's so much more to go wrong in a twin pregnancy. Wombs are meant for one baby not two.

*the lift doors open to reveal another group of bots led by Number Eleven, all pushing carts with linens, silver plate, porcelain dishes, crystal vases and the like. The bots all head directly for the exhibition except for Number Eleven, who pauses to point to his own very tidy black bow tie*

I for one think that it would be great to hear a string quartet try to play Dragonforce... I just might die of laughter.

*Runes wanders in, looking very tired and somewhat wobbly. It has apparently forgotten to remove its LARP makeup, as there are bold green markings on its face. It flops into a chair and puts its feet up.*
Well, that was fun. Nice not to have ended up in charge of herding a second group of cats. One is quite enough.

Mornin All
No sign of Summer this morning, all damp and autumny.
No voting over here so can just sit back and enjoy. Dead boring on the radio though as Aunty Beeb is in political purdah. The Today programme have even got Macca reminiscing about writing Eleanor Rigby.

TV/radio news on election day is always funny as Auntie is not allowed to cover anything political. The best bits are when they do a newspaper review "ooh, and on page 37 there's an interesting story about hedgehogs." It's like a one day version of the summer silly season.
*continues to ponder party gear*

Morning everyone. What a dreich day. In my mind it was going to be bright and sunny on May 6th.
Eats, I've spent more time than is good for me comparing those political quiz things - they seem to come up with some disturbing second and third choices. There's a short list of the best of 'em in my blog: http://tinyurl.com/2cnmqn4
Today's a fairly busy day:
tidy a bit
vote
sign housey paperwork (did I say that the buyer wants to complete by the end of the month?)
study
put TV in car
drive to Scotland
sleep a bit or do some studying
eat a chinese takeaway and point and laugh at the sweating politiians
go to bed about 4:00 am
Nothing on MR's days recently though.

Ohh, an excuse to think of classy clothes. Colour, probably a deep claret red, maybe some black in there.
Off to cast my vote.

How extraordinary - my post linking to my blog where I exhort people to vote (without saying WHO to for) has been modded. I'm rather peeved about that.
Never mind. If you go to agirlcalledben dot wordpress dot com you'll get a link to my blog.
Note to the Moderators: It's not a poltical blog. I don't tell people who to vote for or who I vote for. I just tell them to vote.

kelli - ran 2 miles a day for 2012, aiming for the same for 2013 Posted May 6, 2010
Morning all. Apparently t'Boy is going to be in charge of the country, at least that is what he told me and everyone at nursery after we had a discussion about voting this morning. If he can't be in charge then I have to be but frankly I don't think I have the time.
Ben - did they *really* remove a link to your blog for being Political? Did they actually read it to note that actually is just urges people to go out there and make their mark?

*wonders about dresses. Will Greensleeves be upset if I turn up as a Vamp extroadinaire? wouldn't want to upset her (especially not after a couple of drinks) but my new figure could probably carry off some serious corsetry...*

I've been and voted so I will complain about the government, even if the ones I would like to be in power get in.

Well I'm vamping it up too, I think I'll design myself a frock at http://www.styleshock.com
Greensleeves is very sisterly, so I'm sure she'll just want to know where you get your vampy frock from.
