The biggest problem with driving in Edinburgh is that the signs at major junctions are to late. Often when I see the sign it's impossible to get into lanes.

One shift = 11 hours . I have not got ESPN America yet this year, I am waiting for the football season to finish [next weekend] Then I should get a better deal I see the Mets are carrying on the same as last year .

Having driven in the centre of Edinburgh on Thursday evening, I'd agree with that. The fact that more than half the city seems to have roadworks doesn't help either. And my satnav won't stay stuck to the windscreen and keeps diving into my lap - which doesn't really help with navigation.
I am now contending with Aberdonian roads and routes which have changed since I was last here. Had my collar felt by one of the boys in blue on Friday
There was more I was going to say but I'm a touch distrait this evening - thanks to Ma being admitted to hospital as an emergency this afternoon.

Marv, is that the same cough you make when the proctologist slips on his rubber glove?
It is indeed very early in the season. Far too soon for anyone to get cocky or give in to despair, either one.

How worrying, T. I hope she's better soon.

Oh, Teuchter, how worrying. If you want someone to ask advice of, talk things through with, or translate from the medical Klingon for you, then let me offer you my husband.

> Hmmm. But would these pads be good, in the sense of remedial, for paresthesia?
Lil, as I understand it, paresthesia are wrong signals from broken nerves. I don't think the electricity would do anything one way or another. You might get some weird sensations, depending upon where the damage is.
I've considered using them for an atrophying muscle in my right leg - just hook it up and let it go to town. But I think there's two problems with atrophy - one is disuse, which I could fix. But the other is that the muscle itself just starts melting away, because there's no ennervation. I might be able to slow it down, but not halt it entirely.
Perhaps I'm just not a baseball fan because we have the Texas Rangers, and how am I supposed to get excited about that? Granted, we do have the Dallas Cowboys, and I'm not a football fan either. But they haven't made it to the Superbowel in a while. Of course, the Dallas Cowboys are now in Arlington. The monstrous behemoth that was built to house their new stadium is... well... monstrous. Uses way too much electricity, it's poorly designed, and costs around $1M a month to run.
Best wishes to your Mum, Teuchter. That's gotta be scary.
