Approaching the top of the paperwork mountain. The trig point is within line of sight. I'm feeling a bit breathless, but I know I can just push on until I reach the summit where I will have a triumphal sandwich whilst admiring the view.
Gosh climbing a real mountain would have been far more fun.

Happy Birthday Kelli! -------> A book of baby sitting coupons. Whenever you want to go out with J, or just have some time to yourself, everyone in the Salon will be happy to watch your little angels.
Happy Nerd, I must have missed something, but you're opening a chocolate shop? Are you making the chocolates yourself? Where are you getting the chocolate from?

I spent most of my time running round like a headless chicken non-stop from the hours of 8:45am to 5:45pm each day, on the counter, answering phones, doing audits, CHAPS payments, international payments and foreign currency stuff.
I still have nightmares.

For what it's worth, FG, I think kelli's little angels are delightful. T'Boy is a little exhausting, but I thoroughly enjoyed being pulled through London Zoo by him! K, you'll have to schedule any coupons with my name on them between rehearsals...

I second that, David. They're gorgeous wee loons - as is Sol's Star.
The benefit in enjoying other people's children is that one hands them back long before the fun stops. It's somewhat different with ones own
Anyone within the next couple of counties distance of The Towers may have heard me shouting at #3 this morning. He slept in - badly. The numpty hasn't yet worked out that playing WoW until 2.30am and forgetting to set your alarm clock is not a good idea when there's wo*k the next day.
I'm sometimes tempted to tell him to go and **** up his life somewhere else so I don't have to watch.

T. He can also be quite the charmer now.
I can truthfully say I don't miss the days when I had a house full of teenagers. It's a miracle No 3 and I both survived without one or both winding up in jail.

There's only one thing worse than being made redundant and that's being forced to stay.

Ooh! A birthday! Many happy returns. <- it's an hour. For when you need an extra hour in the day.
D'you know, MC, I thought it was just me. I've been bellowing at the TV* for months "That's not pear cider, it's *perry*!" And now I know I was right.

It's got to be one of these switches.

Okay, okay, down boy. I'm happy to see you too. Or at least I would be if I ~could~ see you.

Aha! We have light! Of course! I should have remembered it would be switch 42. Hmmm, I wonder....

I was actually wondering the other night if we were going to see the BondageBeanBag again. No, I don't know why--one of those idle-brain times, I guess...

Happy Birthday Kelli! I have knitted you a very stylish shoulder-bag. It looks small and neat and perky and cute, but is big enough (I half-inched some technology) for some nappies, wipes, bottom-cream, cotton-wool, snacks, comb, mirror, changes of clothes for everyone, a good book and a small flask of something *cough* medicinal.
Ohh! Truffles!
*Selects one and trots over to the BondageBeanBag* May I sit down without the interference of velcro? Please?
