That said, when I walked into a lamppost, I just got told off for being silly and had to wait for the headache to go (about 2 weeks later). I'm fairly certain my GP even said "well, what did you expect?" when I said the head pain had been going on for more than a week.

Big Bro Dave has had enough concussions himself to know what to check. I will be fine, plus I was only pack-muling the stilts and diablo bag, neither of which are heavy, just awkward. (travelling circus anyone?)

Speaking of ah...er...booblehofs, the Macy's in my town is going out business (corporate HQ decision to close a downtown department store; Macy's would rather be in shopping malls with plenty of parking). Everything inside is 50% off and dropping fast, they have the best bra selection in town, and yet there are none in my size or anywhere near my size. Apparently every other large-breasted women in this region snapped them up the moment Macy's announced the store's closing. Dammit.

Bras are just something I can't shop for online. I need to try the darn things on, because I'm very particular about the way the girls look under clothing. No bullet boobs, no seams.

So, as SC noted, there were, in fact, mad storms yesterday. On campus, a huge pine tree crushed 5 cars in a resident lot, 3 100+ foot eucalyptuses were uprooted, and there were tornadoes in Costa Mesa (no, really, I thought the same thing, but there's video!):

Very rarely does California actually get 'weather'. It's rather funny, actually. It drizzles, and the news channels are screaming "Storm Watch!".

I've got my finches, they make a lovely couple. They sound really sweet, the male sings a lovely song. Man, they had trouble with him though. He escaped and was flying all round the shop BB (the cockatiel has been trying compete with them. George hasn't seen them yet. I wonder what he'll make of them (hopefully not dinner)

I'm really tired now I'm on days for a week, but back on Monday when I'll be on nights again.

I really have a lot of things to do in my only night off this week. But I'm exhausted, and my brain won't work.

I also can't find my wallet so I can't buy redbull.

As Teuchter noted 'titfer' is rhyming slang (tit for tat = hat). Booblehof just *sounds* German to English ears, in much the way that the Swedish Chef in the Muppets *sounds* Swedish. It was a term my ex and I coined for a bra at one time.
