Welcome back Neil, it's good to see you back here and I am sorry to hear that you are in a bad place at the moment.
I like those Ray Ceasar paintings: it's annoying the are exhibited in London for such a short time. It's annoying that London is so far away and so overpriced when we get there. (And you say I post odd sites! )
The Charlie Brown portrait - int-er-rest-ing. Thanks for posting it.

A couple of interesting picture site, those.
There was ICE on my car front window at 8 this morning. Easily removed with the wipers, but still. Ice?

Vip, that's terrific news!
Question...would it be cheaper to have one of you buy a book and ship it to me, or get it off Amazon.uk? The reason I ask is that it's cheaper to buy initially, but the cost of shipping might tip the balance? Or is it a wash? Anyone know?

I'm still working in the prison, but it's permanent, better money, and (hopefully) a better working environment.
Thanks! I'm pretty myself!

Vip!
I have signed the contract with the new company, and handed in my resignation to the current boss. At new year, the new employment gets 'real'.
I was a bit worried that she'd get upset, but we both made an effort to be kind and positive. She said she would like me to reconsider, and basically tell her what I had found wrong, so she could improve. I did, but somehow it didn't sound like she was prepared to change those things anyway (like the setup of the bonus program, which I can understand, can't change a company wide model just for one person). And if I change my mind later, I can always come back. She said...
I guess it was all the nervous tension that made me so wiped out, so last night I slept much harder than I usually do. Bliss. I feel like a new person.

Morning all.
Congrats Milla and Vip. Welcome back Neil.

Congrats Milla and Vip.
MR, it would depend on the book: if it's 32 page pamphlet then definitely cheaper for one of us to send it, especially if any of us can get free postage. If it's a 5 kilo monster, then go with Amazon.

PS - I'm having a whiney day today. My wireless router's needs more wires than a brillo pad and it has just gone 4:00 and I am where I should have been at 11:30.
