Hello to you, Springie. My laptop is fixed and I think I may have an easier time of it from now on. m's, honey, I have m's again!

*gets a beer and wanders back into the salon* I also have lingering problems, I see. Well, we'll deal with them as they come.

*after a cuddle with Mindspring, Lil goes back to the kitchen and begins to pull minced beef out of the fridge for the chili when she thinks of Violet and goes out to the veranda*

Oh dear! Can you hang on a few more hours? The lower half of a barrel for you, I think. *Violet nods, leaning against the wall of the building to keep her balance*
You better fast till tomorrow, then.

*Goes back to kitchen and chops onions, then fries them slowly in butter to soften before adding the ground beef*

*As ground beef browns, Lil adds spices to pan fry and then pours in tomato sauce and water, and turns the heat down before adding kidney beans to the pot. She stirs it well then covers it and leaves it to simmer*

*gets another beer, puts Ry Cooder's Chicken Skin Music on the Bose and starts to dance by herself*
*Mindspring watches with interest*

Hello Plum, Yes anyone can come to the Atelier, though Lil prefers it if you come, stay and chat for a while, rather than just dropping in and dropping out again. There is conversation on all storts here, read some (I certainly wouldn't recomend reading all) the backlog to get an idea of the characters who are around. Check out some of the pictures in the gallery as well, they're good.

Not yet. It's only just past 10am and the festival doesn't open for another hour, I've only just got up and I'm waiting for my friend to arrive from Birmingham (should be here at about 11:30 I think).
