Not a deadly sin, but an animal

Mindspring, or Springie as she is affectionately known, is an unau or two-toed sloth, and a beloved pet in the household of Asteroid Lil at her Atelier.

Ordinarily, Mindspring behaves like any sloth, by not doing much at all. A day curled in front of the hearth or hanging from the valence is a day well spent. But, if given donuts or other pastries, she enters "carbo-load" mode and requires serious external restraint. She also tap-dances.

ACEs, this researcher is not an independent entity but has been created by Asteroid Lil as a defense against identity poaching. She needs no welcoming: I, her owner, and my friends all cherish her already!

Did you know?...

  • The sloth's fur pattern falls from its belly to its back, unlike all other animals whose fur starts at the backbone and falls down.
  • Sloths allow algae to grow in their fur. This makes them turn green and offers camouflage while they are climbing slowly about in the jungle.
  • Although they are mild of temperament, a sloth is capable of disembowelling a human with its extremely long claws.
