My hands have gotten so cold in RL that my rings are falling off as I type. Fairly amusing for those around me, but vaguely annoying since I am the one who has to pick them up and put them back on.
*wraps hands arond trying to warm them up*

Bloke, try copying and pasting the URL into your browser. Geocities has a bad habbit of not liking the links from The Other Place.
We were warm too, right untill the rain startes on Thanksgiving that quickly turned to slush and then into a huge heap of snow over teh weekend.

Well, my day's been pretty good. Actually got some compliments on what I thought was a bad haircut, so I won't be as depressed about it.
In school now, last period. Big dilemma tonight: do I go to Jazz Band Practice (only three left until the XMas Concert), or do I go to the Radio Drama Practice (easier to do, but only one practice until performance night.) What a pickle,....

oooo, tricky one.
i personally would go for the latter as you only have one more practice to go, but it's up to you!

I'd love to have some snow that doesn't melt! We had some, but today it all melted away. I prefer a little bit of snow to none, because snow reflects all kind of light - sunlight, daylight, streetlights, whatever... and makes the winter days less dark...
...considering we only have 6 hours of daylight during the darkest time of the year (yet to come) a snowless winter (way too common these days) can be quite depressing - especially a cloudy winter's day, where you have turn on all the lights indoors to see what you're doing...
Pitch dark when you get up in the morning, dark when you go to w*rk, dark when you finish w*rking...

The post I was referring to was the one with the sock on the wee piggies bottle. The racking, however, has failed to come up with a punch line.

Hello all! Back from Thanksgiving holiday far too soon. I'm not used to dealing with my coworkers yet. At times like these, I realize how annoying they are...more so than usual.
I like winter. I like the snow and the cold. But then, I'm a skier.
Marv, don't start up again.....
Some hot cocoa would be really nice about now.

Lizzy, I know you didn't intend it as a joke. It's just that some turns of phrase cry out for a punch line.

Actually, I'd laugh at a punch line instead of cry.
*Silence*
Sorry, it just came out. Couldn't help myself.

Skiing *is* a lot of fun. The trick, however, is to remain upright on one's skis. I've been spotted falling over while standing still.
