Nothing to it ox. You take her round the waist, er stem and lift, She,ll probably brace her leaves on your shoulders. Then you place her gently in the hole in the middle of the soil in the barrel and I'll spade it up over her roots.

Then we eat.

*first winks at Violet, then cradles her stem and leaves with one hand and gently lifts her by the roots*

*tries not to giggle as Violet nibbles ox's ear*

You're doing it just fine, ox. That's it. Good. *takes small trowel and turns soil over roots* And now I'll just run the mister to give her a good soak.

That looks good...I like the half barrel idea. I could use one of those. It's late night for me so I'm heading to the local all night shopping side show for blank tapes and basic supplies. I'd sure like to come back for chili later.

Just keep the courses hot, Ampton. I have got to hear this jazz piece that's playing on the radio. "Reunion Dues" by Steve Greggs Quartet. The others have drifted off, I think.

*Smells chili and ponders the thought of chili for breakfast. Shrugs and ladles out a bowl. Takes some cornbread to go with it and a big glass of milk. Pierrot gets a mbougatse. Walks out to the veranda to eat. Notices that Violet looks particularly cheery.*

Nice new pot there Violet.

*Pierrot flys out and lands on edge of Violet's barrel, just out of reach.*

Pierrot: Aaaaawwwwk, One bad apple spoils the whole barrel.
