Yeah upperclass Twit of the Year is great. Dead parrot has indeed been done to death though.

I remember your wedding Mags, and was thinking only yesterday how good your dress looked.
I've grown increasingly fond of the philosophers' song as I've grown older and bumped in to more of the people in it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xQycQ8DABvc - Eric Idle again.
Still got more to do that I have time to do it, but I have at least finished work for the week.

Just said goodbye to my needlework buddies and ushered them out the front door. Lovely scribing by the scribes! Although I have no recollection of the digital/analog spousal abuse thingy. I have a mental image of me flipping the bird to my STBX now. Not even going to contemplate the analog version.
And what's that penguin doing on the telly?

kelli - ran 2 miles a day for 2012, aiming for the same for 2013 Posted Jul 9, 2009
New thread began while I was at Legoland with J and the boys, great scribing again folks
What a fantastic day we have all had, it was *miles* better than I thought it would be (ie not just looking at dull lego scultures, although there was a bit of that). t'Boy's favourite bit was the water park where they have fountains that gush from the floor and spray from on high and the kids just run around in it all and get soaked. He would have spent the entire day there if we'd let him.
Trying to decide between London Zoo and Woburn safari park for tomorrow.
As for favourite python sketches, I don't know. I kind of blanked them out when annoying people at school endlessly quoted them, in fact didn't seem able to converse unless it was in python quotes.

Just discovered that one of t'Boy's friends is being treated for swine flu. We saw them on tuesday so will just have to wait and see if either of my boys (or me, only just occurred to me that I might get it!) is about to come down with it. Oh joy.

With everything to choose from, I think I can solidly say that, god, how I do love it when the Pythons dress up as women.
What is it about comedy? The whole men-in-drag thing seems to be more popular in the UK and Canada. Americans just don't appreciate it as much. I think.

I think the drag thing stems from the long and honorable tradition of Pantomime. I recollect Michael Palin () saying that though they were all pretty practised at it, John Cleese was positively dangerous when he dressed as a woman.
Hallo RV50! Welcome. Or welcome back.

Ah, hear you all are. Hello! Fabulous scribing.
They are now battering the Library of Glum to the ground about our ears. Technically, it's a ground-floor refit, but THE NOISE. For WEEKS. Weeks already, and weeks more to go, bang bang bang drill drill drill crash crash crash I am now definitely deranged. Matina! A fresh toasted weasel and three oak-trees, thank you!
