I hope you all had a good weekend.
Will be going to my first bbq of this year.
It's quite here in darkest, deepest Essex apart from the sound of the traffic on the road. Neighbours to the righ of me had a noisy part last night with loads of guests coming in and out. Lasted way past midnight which is very unusual for them as they last party they had only lasted until 9pm. But at least their parties don't not end in drunken fights as with my other neighbours who are on the left of me do. They have small parties but they make enough noise for ten times they amount of people they have.

I have a two day work week this week. Today and tomorrow. Wednesday Syn and I are heading for St. Louis for a mini-outing in honor of his b'day. I bought him tickets to Thursday's Cardinals/Brewers game. Really good tickets. And we're staying in one of the pricey hotels downtown just a block from the ballpark with a fab view of the river and the arch. It's a day game, which I love, so we're going up the day before. We're driving back home after the game, but 'twil be nice, anyway. Then Monday I'm doing the Labor Day cookout this year for the bearded cousins.
The weather is just amazing. We've had the coolest August since they started keeping records.
