Apologies for absence. I've had a Bad Week. I was unwell and I went to hospital - the two are not necessarily related, it's just the new medication I am trying needs a lot of scanning to make sure it isn't turning my innards to semtex - and naturally work Got Out Of Hand because I took two days off and I am all behind on my coursework and now it's Monday and I'm all better and so far my innards are not explosive and there's no way at all I can get out of sorting library nonsense out and doing my homework. Bother.

And I owe the Inland Revenue 88p in taxes this year. What the hey? Surely it costs them more than that to write me the letter saying I owe them 88p.

It's terrible, isn't it? You take two days off sick and instead of other people doing your work for you, they've saved it for when you get back. Grrr....
