*gives Bagpuss a librarian glare*
The pillars are simply square metal things, as the main room of the house is a steel-framed 20th-century add-on (hyphens!). They were green, but we're making them white.
The virus, if that's what it was, involved dizziness, high temperature and lack of focus. Both young men affected were back last night, bouncy and healthy - amazing recuperative powers, as the first guy at least really, really was not well.

Honored Scribe volunteered at post 95. But volunteers must be given leeway to deal with real life before turning to virtual duties.

Our daffs haven't come out yet either, though the crocus have more or less all gone over now. One of the plants is showing some coloured buds in the top.

Our cowslips have been in flower since November. You'd think they'd be tired. Frogs are Doing What Frogs Do, but the hedgehog hasn't beemn for his breakfast yet.
Sorry, this is unlikely to drop into the right space. Does it matter?
I agree with Titania that a spasmodic awakening does nothing for one's well-being. And my well-being does need something doing for it. (...done for it?)
Monty, how much time d'you spend on this research, and how much longer have you got? Don't I *nag*.

Well, I spent International Women's Day rummaging in a nearly new sale for baby outfits and having a 7 hour gossip with Best Friend, which I think is highly appropriate.
Some of the babyclothes aren't even blue.

I presume something came up in the real life of our Honored Scribe, and we'll probably hear from him tomorrow.
This is, in some ways, my busiest day of the week. It's certainly the longest. Instead of usual duties at the courthouse, I go down to the Anderson-Freeman visitors' center and do archiving stuff. And then I stay there, because we have quaker meeting in the theater part of the building.
Which is a little strange, because we're surrounded by movie posters for assorted movies about Billy the Kid. Did you know Lash Larue starred in "Son of Billy the Kid"? And Buster Crabbe did a BTK movie as well.

I attempt to palm the scribing off on David and suddenly I'm honoured? Wow, I must try to wriggle out of things more often.

If there are to be no notes, I had better start reviewing the conversation, starting in the morning.
