[Munchkin]
Has to wait until he can get HP from Toc, which should be tomorrow with any luck. Might get in the way of the meet up though.
I've never heard "drug" used in that way before, I can't currently think of another word that is transformed in that way, but that is mostly due to my bad English. At least I can claim it is a foreign language to me.

I shall be avoiding the HP thread until I have finished the book.

I can see I'm not going to be able to last much longer without buying the book. Is it worth a tenner?
A lovely atlantic low is due to pass through tomorrow . I'm SO looking forward to it. Hopefully I'll be able to get lots of stuff done and I'm contemplating going to a T'ai Chi class in the evening.

It's £9.97 at Tescos.

Just finished a 2 hour final planning meeting for summer reading. I feel like I've been hit by a truck. We usually have SR one day each week, but this year we're doing two days each week to get it finished sooner so we can move. I am seriously thinking about running away from home.

*Swaggers in looking particularly bedraggled and haggard, and collapses into a sofa.*
Urgh... One coffee please, Matin-...
*Falls asleep.*

Is that Tonks? The missing are coming out of the woodwork these days.

Shh! Don't wake him... he looks exhausted.
*Tosses a crocheted throw over Chris.*
I'll make him some when he wakes.

The cats are well after their Visit To The Vet, though I got the vet to clip their claws, and he clipped them far shorter than I ever dare to, and now they keep on falling off the furniture, which makes me feel guilt-stricken and remorseful.
I have a cute little part time temp assignment doing the admin for the teacher training courses run by the local University. It looks like a nice job with nice people, and it is about half an hour's walk away, (Exercise!) and the University has a pool, apparently (more Exercise!) so I am actually quite enjoying the prospect.
My PL emerges from radio silence tomorrow, but I won't get to see him till next week, or maybe the week after. At least I didn't fall apart this time. Last time we were mopping bits of me up off the floor for ages, as you good people may recall.

Costco, our big warehouse store, did not have any HP beek left. They didn't even have the older ones in paperback that I didn't read yet. They had the audio tapes, but that's no fun.
I'm getting good use out of my new air conditioner today . That will have to do.
beek = plural of book
as in
geese = plural of goose
feet = plural of foot
Personally, I use "dragged" but if someone wants to drug me, that's fine too. I'm with Ben -- there ain't no proper way, just different ways to talk.

Titania (gone for lunch) Posted Jun 27, 2003
Off to the airport - I look forward to meeting a couple of my fellow Salonistas!
The rest of you behave now, I don't want to be swamped by backlog after the weekend (unless I can get online during the weekend)!

Morning, all.
Q: Why am I so slow and achey in the mornings these days?
A: Because I am over-tired.
Q: In which case, why am I going to a village fete, the London meet and a friends barbecue this weekend?
A: Quite.

Have a good time, Titania. Try to keep Kristina under control .
Backlog? What backlog? It's a mere back-twig at the moment - you should see it when we really get going .

Well, I'm off to bed after assisting my room mate in replacing the dead wheel bearing in my explorer. I hate cars, some days.

Coniraya Posted Jun 27, 2003
We are still in discussion over cars. H has persuaded the company to let him have a hire car, especially as he has had a number of site visits this week which coincided with days I needed my car. So at least we haven't had to resort to coin tossing over who should have the Black Beauty for the day.
Off to the gym again , but I mustn't think about it, otherwise I won't go.

Hullo all, not been on Hootoo Much at all of late.
Trying to stop my Mum running round after me. Least I know where I get my 'fussing' gene from!
Fininshed HP on the plane on the flight down south. I enjoyed it, despite fellow passengers quizzing me about who was supposed to have been killed off.
