Without knowing your brother I would believe him. I've seen it happen - there are a few sites that seem innocuous (like a search engine, or a "get paid for browsing" scheme) but take over your IE settings and check in with their advertisement server. Then you get re-directed at random to sites that advertise with them, and guess what? Most of the advertisers are porn sites. Put Ad-Aware on your brother's computer. He will thank you. Unless you're right.
I never took that quiz the first time around. I land smack-dab on top of the Dalai Lama.

Irv, you can sneak a copy of Phoenix (Now called Mozilla Firebird) and it is popup free and about 6mb. No installer, just upzip the download.

I didn't see the Dahli Lamma on the quiz... where is he?
And I *do* know my brother, and sure, the pop ups are getting annoying, but he does put in his share of time browsing the porn. I know this for two reasons: a) when he did have IE, I looked in the history list and saw LOTS of porn sites listed, and b) he used to leave the computer on, with AOL on, and the porn sites up, when he'd leave the house. My mother would come home and find the stuff on the screen. Leaving AOL on was also how my parents found an eMail of his to a friend that detailed just which substances he'd been experimenting with at the time.
My mother's theory is he wanted to get caught.

Didn't see you there, Marv. That sounds like a good idea. I may look into it.

I can identify the one in the bottom right corner, Lil. That's Miss Limbo. I can't help you with the rest, I'm afraid.
I have a busy day ahead. I have to sort out, clean and label the stuff for the car boot sale this morning and then I'm going to take a friend on the Wharfe walk I did a couple of weeks ago (see my journal).

Well done, Toc!
On my days off, I don't need coffee to wake up, probably because I sleep until I'm rested and ready to wake up - but on w*rk days I get up earlier than my natural rhythm. I have breakfast at home, with , but once I arrive at w*rk I need a to get my brain started
I don't know the names of any of the plants, but maybe Hati would?

At the pub, we do a cask conditioned beer every week, usually on Thursday nights. Today was Reggaefest...we actually made 5000 bucks, which for a pub that sells pints for between 2.00 and 3.5 is phenomenal. My boss told me tonight that I am soooo in for his job in a year that he has no thought of anyone else.
I like that.
And now I am going to bed, as I am too tired/drunk to think.
Was it wrong to kiss a boy when you really know you shouldn't have?

Caer, Try Havering farm on the A320 between Guildford & Woking. There is a reclamation yard there. From what I saw, it was more junk than treasure, but it may have the odd bargin?
I have temp work as a receptionist lined up for the next three weeks, then I'm off home for a quick visit before the London Meet
Me I can recognise some plants but not many.
MR, who you been kissing? do tell.

I went out eclipse watching too Hati. It was fantastic seeing the sun rise as a red crescent rather than a big round disk as normal.
It did of course mean getting up very early, which after a late night stargazing last night means I'm very tried.
Best go and write that journal entry about it...

Lil, if no one identifies your plants before I get to work, I'll get out oneof my reference books and see if I can find them. Actually, they all look familiar, but with the exception of the prickly pear, the agave and the verbascum, I can't think of the names. And your local names would probably be different than what dear old Mom called them anyway.

It is No1 son's 23rd birthday today, but he is staying with a friend this weekend, so there is a pile of s and cards waiting for him to open when he returns.
It is 32.1ÂșC behind the garden shed! Needless to say Cassie is lying in the long grass on the green in the shade of the oak tree.
I only know the verbascum, Lil, there is a red one here in the full sun border that is so busily spreading that the weeds don't get a look in. I have seen most of the other plants, in places like the Eden Project, Wisley and Kew, but couldn't tell you their names.
Limbo is so

Verbascum? Is that verbena? And are you referring to the purple stuff that's spreading out?
Good morning y'all -- I'll be doing art most of today, I hope!

But the one I have is a dark red.
