Ben, I guess the problem is that for the most part, the guys treating me like one of the guys is fine. There is, however, something to be said for not having to be surrounded by the incredibly high levels of testosterone I have witnessed.
Not to mention there's one boy (and yes, he is a boy, believe me) that doesn't actually work there, but is great friends with the rest, that I could date in about two seconds.

Hello Dave. Haven't been to Bristol for ages, funnily enough we were reminiscing about the zoo yesterday. Shot past it on the M4 countless times when No1 son was at Uni in the Valley of the Damned.
Ben, when you get the kittens, you must buy a sheepskin for the beds. Cassie's previous owners passed her's on and she loves it. Whenever she settles down in there she gives it a good kneading, purring loudly. Sheepskin is machine washable, on a wool wash of course and will go in a cool tumble drier too.

Hallo Dave from Bristol, and welcome to the atelier! Make yourself comfortable. There's a link to a floorplan on the main atelier page, which will help you get your bearings.
I had an... experience this morning which I didn't think was appropriate to describe here, so I have made a journal entry. If you have any thoughts about it, please share them with me there.
Cats kneading! Miss Limbo gets deeply into it, and I've had to throw a blanket over the bed to protect my duvet from her claws. My brother calls it the haldol shuffle. Vinne, on the other hand, does a quick knead for less than a minute before he flops down. Limbo keeps taking in more space until she's lying full length.

And speak real English! This isn't a messenger program. Marv, who is the new researcher?
I just enjoyed the first Chinese meal I've had since May 2001.

Lil! That's too long to go without Chinese food. We just did a light meal of pot stickers, spring rolls and tea tonight. I take it you're feeling a bit better about your day?

32 spam mails (didn't bother to check them from home) and I've *finally* had offers about enlarging my breasts rather than my penis!

Good luck, Amy.
I never get breast-enlargement ads - I had always put it down to having a name like 'Ben'.
I do know what you mean about too much testosterone, MR. I confess I am happiest when the mix is about 70% testosterone, 30% oestrogen. Too many women and you get other problems like synchronised periods, and bizzare emotional politics. Too many men, and the whole place turns into a locker-room.
Work eh? Curse of the drinking classes!
And I must go and do some, and do it now.
Ben

[Munchkin]
Nearly missed my train this morning due to it being first Monday of the month and hence everyone and their Auntie buying their monthly tickets.
Oh, well done Marv, Hi to the newbies and can I just put my vote in for Ringwood Old Thumper as the world's most deceptive beer. I was off skittling again on Friday night. After a few pints of the Old Thumper I was a demon at skittles (second best adult at Killer ) but I had a terrible hangover in the morning. Either that or I am allergic to Toccata's nieces, which would be a tad harsh.
