It's past 7 pm, and I'm still stuck at w*rk doing overtime on my last w*rk day before Christmas... ...taking care of someone else's mess...

I shall be dropping in over Crimble, with or without my sanity.

The sitting room is full of boxes, some containing decorations and baubles, some containing PC bits as No2 son is building himself a new one. Some of the components look shiny enough to go on the tree....

He was going to use his current case for the PC, but the motherboard is too big to go in it and the fan looks hheeeewwwwwwwwwgggggg!

I'll be away after today until January second. Except for the two Sundays.

Phil - the cannon still works. However Affy isn't around much to operate it and lately, I have had trouble getting time for h2g2 myself.

Lil, it sure looks like a lot of us will be throughout the Holiday and posting to the Panto may be kinda 'spotty'. Just say the word though, and I'll slip into 'persona non hominid' at the drop of a hat, and post as I can. Still looking forward ('cause I don't have eyes in the back of my head) to participating in the Pantomime...

Looks like I will be working xmas day. All week actually.

I'll lurk around most of the time.

I myself will be in and out, maybe once a day (my mom's connection is an old dial-up, and it's their only phone line...how archaic) after tomorrow.

I shall be away as of tommorow early and am unlikely to be back on before the sixth (when the hangover clears ) so have a good Christmas all, and a fine New Year.

My house is spotless, my bags are packed. Tomorrow is lazy (okay, so I still have to do the kitchen floor, but that's IT) and then we leave in the afternoon.

We sure celebrate Christmas here, I am just not in a mood and anyway, I have to w*rk. My house looks a complete mess and the gifts are not wrapped or even still in the shops. No decorations yet and not much plans either. So there... Chrtistmas came too unexpectedly this year, I'm afraid I have been too occupied with myself to pay any attention to the calendar.
I still have couple days for all this stuff, don't I?

*comes in looking bleary* This morning's post office shift is going to ~waste~ me for the rest of the day. There will be loads of parcels and Christmas cards and no matter how I stoke the woodstove it will still be cold. People always seem to stop on their way out to read the noticeboard, with their hand on the doorknob and the door wide open...

I'm suffering from goodwill lag. The house is a mess, at least No2 son has cleared up most of the boxes that all the PC parts came in, but even though the unit has 3 fans, he is considering putting in a 4th so he can overclock it still further, but it already sounds like my old washer doing a 1200rpm spin.

The is now decorated, but the empty boxes are strewn all over the floor with no apparent sign of anyone else putting them away Cassie is eyeing up the tree and there are wet paw marks on the windows where she has taken to pawing to be let back in again, ignoring the cat flap in the process.

Without a dryer, I've got a load of wet washing waiting to be hung on the airer, it is too damp outside to use the clothes line, but at least the fabric conditioner has a nice fresh smell whilst the clothes are drying.

I've still to put the marzipan on the Xmas cake, make some mince pies before Dad comes for lunch tomorrow and H has gone to bed with a filthy cold.

Oh well, after a couple of this evening, I'm sure I shall be more in the Crimble mood.
