Asteroid Lil - Offstage Presence Posted May 16, 2002
Good morning y'all! *In the usual violation of time and space, Lil finds the teapot still fresh from when Odra was here, and helps herself to a cup* HooToo is letting me on earlier than usual.
Is anyone else using Dreamweevil 4? I'm finally migrating over from version 3 and just had it open long enough to define my sites. After I closed DW, I went over to Photoshop and it was as if I'd been hit by intranet jello. I had to reboot in order to resume normal operations. What a bore.
Plans are final: Mike A and his family will be in Lincoln for 6 whole days as part of their Western holiday. I'll be taking the boys, Mike and his brother, for at least a day so that the parents can have some private time, and I'll do chauffering so that dad, Roger, can be a sightseer. Why is it that one only goes to the tourist sights when one has visitors? This will be my chance to see Carlsbad Caverns.
Matina, when you next shop, see if you can pick up some of these new colours of vegetables please. I would like to see and taste them.

[:x] -- now finished his first proper written exam (Latin; 1400/21), which has to be the most boring 2 hours possible.

Red, Gratz on finnishing up!
Well, before you get too jealous keep in mind that I now am sporting a good sunburn and I am so very tired today that I may fall alseep here at work.
OK, quick spoiler free review:
SW Attack of the Clones is nearing what SW fans have been wanting since the announcement of the prequel series. The first hour is fairly slow but the last hour, specifically the last ten minutes, is more than worth the wait. The massive jedi battle that we have been wanting for over 20 to see years is given to us.
I won't reveal any plot devices or anything else by it, but as a seasoned and jaded Star Wars fan I enjoyed it a great deal.
Note, I was able to see the film on an IMax screen (6 Stories high!) but not in full THX. I am shopping for another screen to see it on with full digital sound.

Congratulations, MR. I know what it is like to get that monkey off your back. Learning new stuff is fun, but schooling isn't (sorta like what Mark Twain said: "I never let schooling get in the way of my education."). When you're in school, there is never any guilt-free rest - there is always some schoolwork you SHOULD be doing. Good to hear you're free now.
