And Britain got three medals too, including a bronze when everyone else fell over at the Men's Slalom. When you need someone to ski on horrible snow, just look for a Scot

Our silver was for men 50 cross country. It's without Mühlegg on the first place now.

Don't know how silly, but I rather enjoyed all those bodies in form hugging lycra...

Well, yes, but this is not entirely a bad thing, particularly as I didn't watch the women...

Or he /did/ get it and he's too busy playing with it to talk to us.
I liked that mini report, Marv.
Loony, I just had some photos e-mailed to me from my uncle and his wife who've just moved to New Zealand. Those views are stunning!

That sounds sickly interesting, Lil. I've never heard of that in cats.

Happy Monday, all. Earlier in the forum I was complaining about the lack of snow here and on Saturday night we had a blizzard. It dumped several inches of the white stuff on us, and as my landlady has decamped to sunny Mexico for the remainder of the winter, it's fallen to me to shovel the sidewalks. Luckily our next door neighbor, a retiree in his 70s, has a snowblower. Unfortunately he came to clear our sidewalks 8am Sunday morning...
It kept snowing the rest of the day. I watched the Olympic closing ceremonies and about the time Donny and Marie Osmond made their appearance I said: "Time to shovel the walk!"
Key: Complain about this post
