now, just for my information, is there something wrong with orchid OTHER than the escapade at The Other Place during the foop/rupert/h2g2 existence failure/whatever you want to call it?

Caer, I thought Rachel looked cute in the original Mummy, and I remember thinking at the time something to the effect "Oh, look, a real girl and not some skinny supermodel" but then she got all vampish and anorexic in the sequel.
Anyone care to explain this orchid business for those of us who are too lazy to read any links or official explanations?

To take a precaution in case the above disappears, it contained the words "vampish and anorexic". Just so you don't have to wonder this time.
To Richard.
Hello, Galen, and welcome.
Titania, I'll read your entry in a moment.

Sorry Caer, I should have tested the code first. I thought you'd found a clever way of doing links. I'll leave the correct code for your page in your space.

To Richard May it have happened quickly and as painlessly as possible for you and for your family to be ok.
Loony when do you hear the results from the quacks taking pics of your insides?
This eveing I've been for a swim - underwater - the first since I got bent. Max depth 3m for about 45mins and it felt good

Oh, sunshine on the trees. I decided that when I grow up and have to go to work each day I am definitely taking a job which allows me time to read the paper every morning. I'm sick of this hurried mornings business, it's no good. (I've also been reading far too much Hemingway...) But life is good, and spring is coming. eventually.

Well and so it has taken me so long to get the computer this far today, that I have forgotton everything I might have wanted to say.
Except: To Richard *raises glass*
Oh and I like the Mummy too. Both Mummys actually, so to JJ. Nothing wrong with a bit of cheesy entertainment, and whilst getting it all wrong is enfuriating in a serious drama type thang, nobody watching the Mummy could really beleive that the makers intended for it to be taken literally, could they?

First snow during the night and now, with temperature above zero C, wet snow, which will probably turn into rain later today...

Morning all, glorious day here in a damp but potentially sunny sort of way. Cassocks ironed, boots gleaming and waterproofed, curry powder and cardamon seeds replenished, started the Wales to win on Sunday Mantra, and confusion to the Brits in Edinburgh on saturday chant. Off for a heffalump hunt with the 2 ft terrorists, but a bit nervous in case we get caught in an agressive downpour from some of Lils Water with Attitude. Does this H2O develop as a result of lying around in bad company (Nostalgic link to 80s soft rock band!) or is it a function of falling through ozone depleted and sulphurous atmosphere. (Acid rain plays havoc with with my coiffeur!) We really need to know!

[Munchkin] Chants along with PWM, assuming he means who I think he does by Brits.
As to Rachel Weisz, mabe doing The Enemy at the Gates is why she looks so thin? She looked somewhat realistic in that?

Amy, thanks for your help, my space looks a lot better for it and I may even have a go at putting some more stuff on it.
PWM, I must ask No1 son what his tactics are for when he is propping up the Uni bar in Wales, but usually he wears his Scotland rugby shirt when the Scots are planning England, the Welsh one for the same opponents. But when Wales plays Scotland, he keeps his head down as he owes equal allegiance to both. Being a real celtic mix, he also has Irish blood in his veins, but then things get way too complicated!

Morning, all.
Life is grand, the mountains are beautiful and its COLD again outside!

Ms Weiss looked much better in the first Mummy, IMHO. She also seemed to be having more fun with the role in that one, but that could just be that I enjoyed watching it more.
Matina, some please. Thank you.

I was quite let down by the second one. I too think she was far better in the first

Hi Gw7en! *waves*
The first Mummy film was definitely the best, better storyline too, I think.
We have got the new Star Wars film to look forward to. It is being released in the UK in May, is that the same time as in the US?
