Handbags should be held on a short leash in the countryside so that they doesn't chase the sheep..
Or is the only mine?
Congratulations with the new upgrade! Does anyone know what's so new and exiting about it?

For example, we can do this:

Isn't the English language a confusing thing? The phrase is "Here is the news", Hatifnat. "The news" being taken to be a singular item for reasons that are not entirely clear.
And now the weather forecast. We're suffering badly from the wind today and it's heading your way Hatifnat. Expect wind speeds of over 100 kph by Wednesday. At least you won't have to shovel snow - it will all blow away.

It doesn't seem as though 360 is set up yet, though I like the way my page ( http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/360/360/U40888 ) looks there. I wonder if they'll fix the smilies?
And why aren't there any new smilies??

Greetings, all! I'm just about to watch my new HHGttG DVD... after printing out my dad's tax return forms.
I'm in conflicting thoughts about this upgrade. The new features like text-based links are great, but I don't like the way the integration with other sites works yet. I'm sure they'll get that sorted out before 360 and any other new DNA sites will be opened.

Woah! I log in and find homework! DNA, huh?

Oh, I forgot to add the point where Phil hugged me.
Anyhoo, suppose I ought to read that bit on the new things that you can do, or I could just continue in my luddite ways. Who needs more than anyway?

I followed your link FG, found I had a space too which I now realise is an auto thingy, but what is 360? Does it mean I can no longer ignore the fact that I still haven't got around to working out how to do the links stuff? Will hootoo cease to exist?
*thinks..'keep calm. keep calm, long slow deep breaths'.....*

See? In my panic, I put FG, sorry Sporky.

Thanks, Amy, for the english lesson. I wish I could have them more.
And yes, I use alabaster, so the links tend to have the word in them.
There was something else, I guess...
Well, I need to get acquainted to all the stuff.

Ah! Well! The site's back! I woke up early this morning and found that there was nothing to do on the Internet, including this site. Glad it's back.
Incidentally, Grudge-Match has opened "Tournament Of Champions I" finally! It's The Death Star With Storm Troopers vs. Hannibal Lector vs. Mr. T. vs. A Rotweiller vs. Obi-Wan Kenobi vs. Kahn vs. McGeyver vs. The Terminator. Even though my logic says that Hannibal Lector would win in the scenario that they've given, my prediction says that Mr. T. will win, because it's a Grudge Match.

No problemo Caerwynn. I wouldn't have noticed for days anyways
I hope McGeyver gets his skinny white butt kicked.

Oh, I wanted to say few words about the weather. This wind you promise me, Amy. I don't count much on it's ability to blow the snow away. The last storm cleaned the street quite fine. Only it was the opposite side of the street and the snow was all on my side. I had the snow over my knee (and I'm not a dwarf or something) while the other side was just clean.
It's snowing very intensively right now, i can't escape shoveling, I'm afraid.
