We're thinking of going in the other direction, Grenada or Antigua.
Its our honeymoon actually . We got married last year, but due to w*rk commitments haven't been able to organise a fortnight's leave.

Marv, did you show the date your h2g2 tattoo?
My stove started wailing again but this time in the middle of the night, woke me up out of a good warm sleep when even Vincent was being quiet. I had to get up, pull the damn thing away from the wall and unplug it. Nothing like a little vigorous exercise in the cold, at one in the morning.
Ooh, Matina has baked cinnamon raisin bread! I'll have two slices, toasted, please.

Well, there was I all ready to sit down and start turning your excellent suggestions into a lesson (thanks again), when I find that Boyfriend has been playing with the computer again and locked me out of Word. Pants.
'They' turned on our heating today. Most of the day has been spent putting things under the leaks and screaming for the workmen and mopping up the kitchen after they left a whatdyercallit, a tap open in the pipe above us. whci sprayed the entire room with zinc couloured water.
On the other hand, here is cinnamon bread. I'll have a couple of slices too.

Ah, but do you have heat along with that zinc-coloured water?
I have a nice warm bedroom but the pilot light keeps blowing out as soon as it gets gusty, which is most days hereabouts. The repairman will be here tomorrow. And yesterday I had to drive down to Carrizozo and order a new grate because this one is mostly broken, which I didn't know could happen to grates. Just as the fire is getting along really well, all the kindling falls through the broken part and becomes a lump of coals on the floor of the hearth, too far away from the bigger pieces to keep them going.
The result is a fire that lasts about an hour and then becomes very smoky (and flame-less) as the bigger logs slowly turn to charcoal.
It will work fine when the new grate is put in, because the fire draws beautifully, when it ~is~ going. Ah, the lore our ancestors took for granted....

What ho, one and all!
A bit gloomy outside today, so I thught I'd pop in and get a bit of work done.
Matina, a couple of slices of that lovely toasted cinnamon bread, please, and some ginger and orange tea.

Marching band is over for the year! Now it's Pep Band, Concert Band, and Jazz BAnd (the fun stuff)! About time, too, I've been working on my Frankie & Johnnie solo for months!

I would love a house with a tower, just a small one enough for a nice view without having a coronary before reaching the top.
No immediate neighbours would be nice too!
May I have a slice of cinnamon bread too please, Matina?

Frankie and Johnnie were lovers, Lordy how they did love... Good song, Affy!
Morning all!
And a bright, clear, warm Sunday morning it is too! I only hope that the rest of the day continues this well.
Marv, I will want to hear all about it tomorrow, you realize.
Lil, as a conference call reservationist, I helped organize the calls and find the lines and numbers for them. I handled everything from 3 line calls to 5000 line callse. As an operator, I mostly answered the incoming calls and took information from the participants so that the organizers would know who they were. I also worked on creating the lists of information that other operators took and sometimes held the hands of contacts on what we called Com Lines. (Short for communication lines, of course, althoughone of my clients always called it her Calm Line.) It was good while it lasted, and there are aspects of the job that I miss dreadfully. For the most part, however, I am glad to be away from it.
Matina, some please. Thank you.

Yeah, Gw7en, F&J is a great song. I'm almost guaranteed the solo, too. Mainly because I had the solo last year, memorized the music, and then lost the music too, so no one else even knows the solo.
